No. At Resort Lifestyle Communities, we do not charge a buy-in fee or require any long-term commitments. We charge an administrative fee that is equal to half a month’s rent. Contact the community you’re interested in for more details.

All of our communities are non-smoking and follow local codes.

All of our communities offer free high-speed internet in the computer center. Many of our communities also have Wi-Fi throughout the common areas. Our newer communities provide internet service in the individual apartments; check with the community you’re interested in for details.

At RLC, your safety is always a top priority. Every community has alarms installed and will notify you of an emergency. If we are in an inclement weather season, we’ll also do tests so that everyone is aware of what the alarms sound like and the proper actions to take.

For your safety, all of our communities:

  • Meet all comprehensive safety codes, complying with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Are equipped with door alarms, fire alarms, sprinklers, and security systems
  • Use fire resistant material in constructing and furnishing the building
  • Have emergency electrical backup systems and conduct regular emergency drills
  • Have clearly posted general evacuation and emergency plans
  • Have passed all inspections by state and community regulated agencies

Absolutely! Residents are free to use any assistive devices that allow them to remain mobile and independent. Our communities are built to meet the standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act.  Some apartment floor plans have additional accessibility features.  Please check with the community you are interested in for specific details.

Doors are locked at night, and residents are provided access, so you are free to come and go as you please.

We provide ample parking in our parking lot; we also have garages with automatic door openers available for rent. Additionally, we offer free valet parking. Our professional staff will bring your car to the front door when you are leaving and safely park it for you when you return.

For your enjoyment and relaxation, we have a great whirlpool/spa, but not an on-site swimming pool.

You’ll have endless opportunities to meet and interact with other residents. Our community ambassadors, managers, and Lifestyle Director will personally introduce you to many residents. You never have to be alone, unless you want to be. Our residents have developed close friendships through shared interests and group activities.

Residents set their own pace. You can continue working, keep busy with projects, learn new skills, hobbies, games, make new friends, or if you prefer, you can simply relax. You have a variety of choices and are free to participate in as much or as little as you like.

The apartment floor plans are strategically laid out to minimize the chance of sound carrying through the walls.

We welcome referrals to seniors who would benefit from living in one of our communities. To show our appreciation for your referral, we offer $500 to any non-family member who refers a new resident to our communities. Some restrictions apply, so check with the community you’re interested in for details.

When you are gone for an extended period, we will reimburse you credit for the food, but you have to let management know of your intended absence, so we do not plan on you being with us for meals.

You may invite guests to visit any time; this is your home!  You’re welcome to have guests stay overnight in your apartment. Our communities also have a guest suite you can reserve for a reasonable nightly rate.

Yes. We do charge an additional resident fee, which accounts for the all-inclusive meals, amenities, and services that the second person is using. Your rent will remain the same. Check with the community you’re interested in for more details.

Our communities warmly welcome pets. We allow dogs in first-floor apartments and cats and other small pets in all apartments; pets are not allowed in common areas. We do not require a pet deposit.

Our apartments are unfurnished. We’ve found that our residents enjoy decorating and arranging their new home. We can certainly help you locate furniture or reputable moving companies and make the move as easy as possible for you.

We know how important it is for you to be at ease, and completely satisfied with your decision. On the general reservation deposit, it shows that the deposit is 100% refundable. After move-in, our company also offers you a Satisfaction Guarantee, which reads, “We are certain that our wonderful services and comfortable community will support you in making your life the best it can be!”

Because we believe that we will meet and exceed your expectations- we want to give you a 30-day money back satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with our services, we ask that you give the notice to vacate within the refund time period (before your 35th day stay), and you will be given a full refund of monies paid for rent for your first 30 days of stay.

We don’t require any long-term commitment or lease; your month-to-month rental rate when you move in is honored for a full year with no increase. Each year we’ll evaluate the rental rate and make adjustments based on the cost of living increases. We spare no effort to keep these adjustments to a minimum.

Rent is month-to-month and will differ based on the apartment that you select.

The monthly rate is all-inclusive and includes all of your meals, weekly housekeeping, all of your utilities including cable, a 24/7 emergency response system, and free transportation.

Yes, we have apartments with various features available to you. Our apartments include studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom apartments.

Of course! We welcome your guests to any meal. Our guest meal rates are very reasonable and are posted at the concierge desk in each community.

Every day we offer many healthy, nutrient-rich food options in our Freedom Dining program including low sugar desserts, a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, a nourishing salad buffet, and a healthy entrée alternative.
Our chefs make a special effort to be present and available for residents to share their comments, questions, and concerns. Residents are also welcome to request a private consultation with the community chef. Learn more

Yes. As part of our all-inclusive program, our Freedom Dining meal plan is conveniently structured as a single rate for all residents and includes all meals. There’s no need to track monthly meal credits.

Our Freedom Dining program mimics the meal experiences offered on 5-star cruise ships. We pair flexible hours with the choice of gourmet fine dining; casual buffet; Chef’s Pantry on-the-go snacks; or room service. Learn more

We are professionally staffed 24 hours a day to ensure the highest level of security and safety for each resident. Each apartment is equipped with smoke detectors. Every resident receives an emergency call pendant that connects to the community’s central emergency response system.  At the push of a button, our staff is immediately notified of the exact location of the emergency.

For our residents’ security, all community entrance doors, except the front door, always require keys for access. We lock our front entrance over night. Every resident is provided a code to the front doors, so you will have the freedom to come and go as you please.

Our free community shuttle trips include weekly shopping outings and transportation to medical or other personal appointments during scheduled shuttle hours. The shuttle is equipped with a lift for safe and easy access.  Simply sign up with our concierge to reserve your seat.

We operate as Independent Living Communities and are consequently not licensed or otherwise appropriately trained to offer assistance with medications, bathing, dressing, mobility, or any other personal health care needs.

Occasionally, our residents may require the assistance or services provided by a personal health care provider or other private caregiver.  When such services are needed, our residents hire the care provider directly.

For your convenience, a third-party home health care agency is available on-site, or you can hire the company of your choosing.
