Christmas Tree Auction to benefit Alzheimer's of Central Alabama
Vestavia Hills, AL - Cahaba Ridge Retirement Community invites Birmingham and the surrounding areas to attend Magic on Main Street - a fun-filled family-friendly holiday experience for all ages - December 8 at Cahaba Ridge Retirement Community at 3:00-5:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Come and see the beautifully decorated, gift-filled trees on display at Cahaba Ridge Retirement Community, located at 3090 Healthy Way in Vestavia Hills, just south of the Interstate 459 and Highway 280 intersection.
Each of the auctioned trees is sponsored by an individual, organization, or local business. Each sponsor has bought and decorated a tree for a silent auction benefiting Alzheimer's of Central Alabama. Some of the tree sponsors include WVTM Channel 13, Clear Captions, Five Points Healthcare, McCorquodale Transfer, and Nurse Next Door. Event attendees will vote on their favorite tree. The sponsor of the winning tree will take home an award and prize.
Enjoy warm delicious homemade cookies and other holiday treats prepared by Cahaba Ridge's Executive Chef. Santa will make a special guest appearance to perform the top Christmas time hits and will be available for photos. Guests can join in the holiday cheer "rocking around the Christmas tree" on the dancefloor to the sounds of The Alexanders.
Unwrapped toys will also be gathered for delivery to Toys for Tots.
