Towne Center's Fields of Pink Fundraiser

Resort Lifestyle Communities | October 21, 2021

3900 Medical Center Drive, Fayetteville, NY 13066
October 25 - October 30, 2021

Fayetteville, NY — Towne CenterRetirement Community in Fayetteville is looking to paint the town pink in a new fundraiser, Fayetteville Fields of Pink, with all proceeds benefiting the nonprofit cancer research organization The Baldwin Fund.

Using the Fayetteville Fields of Pink fundraiser, residents and staff at the independent retirement community aim to educate the community of the impact breast cancer has on women's lives locally and nationally. Towne Center will be selling pink utility marker flags that will be staked along North Burdick Street, from Medical Center Drive down East Genesee Street, and will create a visual that serves as a reminder that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

The sale of the 4 x 5-inch flags will begin Thursday, October 21 at Towne Center Retirement Community, located at 3900 Medical Center Drive (across from AmeriCU Credit Union).  The planting of the flags along N. Burdick St. and within the local community will begin Monday, October 25, and run through the evening of Friday, October 30. Flags may also be planted in individuals' yards if desired. For those unable to plant their own flags, volunteers will be ready to help.

Individual flags may be purchased for $1 each, while bundles of 100 flags may be purchased for $50.  Event sponsors may purchase 5 bundles (500 flags) at $250 and will receive a personalized lawn placard for placement amongst your flags.

All proceeds from flag sales will be donated to The Baldwin Fund and are 100% tax-deductible. Please make checks payable to: The Baldwin Fund, and designate "FFOP" in the memo line.
