Dear Lisa and the staff at Maple Ridge,
My parents, siblings and I would like to thank you all for helping us to have such a great time last Saturday celebrating my parents' 70th wedding anniversary. We appreciated the use of the room, the delicious cake, the beverages and the ice, as well as the easels. My parents loved visiting with their 50+ relatives from Colorado, Texas, Massachusetts, Kansas and Nebraska.
Everything went well, and we received many compliments about how the party felt so comfortable - like it was a family gathering in someone's home. That's exactly what we wanted!
People arrived around 2:00 p.m. and although the party was technically over at 4:00, the last of the guests weren't out the door until 8:00! (We had brought in beer and pizza by that time.)
If anyone in the future wants to know, the TV works great for a rotating slide show, and for karaoke!
We also appreciate the use of the Maple Room on Sunday for our family brunch. It was a wonderful gathering for all.
In the sweet words of my four-year-old granddaughter Violet, when can we do this all again?
