Hudson Meadows Supports Habitat for Humanity

Newly-completed retirement community contributes construction materials valued at $3,500

HUDSON, OH - Hudson Meadows Retirement Community, located at 1275 Barlow Road in Hudson, Ohio, is pleased to donate more than $3,500 in construction materials to Habitat ReStore, a reuse store offering home improvement materials, appliances, and furniture, operated by Summit County's Habitat for Humanity.

The newly-completed retirement community coordinated its efforts with parent company Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC), as well as RLC's sister company Cameron General Contractors (CGC), with the idea being presented by a local sub-contractor group.

"As a local retirement community, we believe in being part of the larger community in the area, to support the important causes of housing needs for those in need," said Jacque Eells, new live-in manager at Hudson Meadows Retirement Community.

Resort Lifestyle Communities is a family-owned company established more than a decade ago in Lincoln, Nebraska. RLC provides an active, enjoyable, and affordable lifestyle for the residents living in their communities.

"In our delivery of the Resort Lifestyle, our focus is always on the resident. We strive for a work environment in which each employee is valued, respected, and appreciated. Our core values are key: Respect, Honesty, Kindness and Compassion, and Service Excellence," said Kelly Jo Hinrichs, VP Marketing for RLC. "This contribution aligns our value of respect and our passion for housing with the mission of Habitat for Humanity—seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope."
