Lifestyle Communities Opens Tuckahoe Pines Retirement Community in Richmond
RICHMOND, VA – Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) invited the business community in Goochland County and surrounding areas to celebrate the grand opening of Tuckahoe Pines RetirementCommunity on Thursday, November 18.
The event was attended by Tuckahoe Pines representatives, chamber members, and local dignitaries who spoke during a short program while local staff answered questions about the new community and local business partnering opportunities.
"Tuckahoe Pines offers a
rather unique lifestyle that addresses a growing market, and is a welcome addition
to the Goochland community," said Goochland County Board Supervisor Ken
Peterson. "I would also like to welcome the residents of Tuckahoe Pines to
Goochland, and hope they enjoy the resort lifestyle while discovering the many
benefits of living in a special place like Goochland County."
Tuckahoe Pines is an RLC portfolio community that offers an all-inclusive
experience for residents. One monthly price covers a studio, 1, 2, or 3-bedroom
apartment, as well as all daily needs like chef-prepared meals, housekeeping
services, and life-enriching entertainment and activity options. Other
amenities for residents include on-site staff, an emergency call system,
concierge services, and appointment transportation. The community's centrally
located Main Street features an in-house bank, pharmacy, general store, and
salon. And if they need home health care, residents are free to contract with
their choice of providers.
The $30 million, 180,000 square foot, Tuckahoe Pines Retirement Community is the first RLC location in Virginia and provides an array of significant long-term benefits to the Goochland County area, including the creation of 30+ local jobs. The greatest community benefit is a safe, compassionate lifestyle for seniors that offers peace of mind for their families. The community is located at 12330 Patterson Avenue in Richmond.
