Copper Springs Reviews

We appreciate that they provide three meals a day for a similar price to what other communities offer, typically only two. We love the decor, the friendliness of the staff, and the helpfulness. We also appreciate that it is a larger facility, which allows us to meet and interact with more residents. It's a beautiful place, and I love the Koi Pond. The management is stellar and extremely helpful. Anytime we have needed anything, they act immediately. We also appreciate that housekeeping occurs every week, rather than every two weeks, which was the norm at the 14 other places I checked into. The housekeeping staff also has a lot of longevity and is very friendly. We have had a fantastic experience! We also like that there is a salad bar with every meal, and the food is excellent. The dining room is beautiful and features ample natural lighting. I love the very tall ceilings and how you can look from the second floor down into the dining room.

Everyone is very friendly and kind. I feel they work hard to make you feel comfortable and truly care about their residents.

charming wonderful food, warm and welcoming!!

One of the real pluses is that the manager of Copper Springs lives with all of the residents so he has hands on daily experience experiences . Not only was the staff nice at Copper Springs , but so are all the residents. They make new residence. Welcome and invite them to all of the activities that are going on. They send out a list of all the daily activities and encourage everyone to participate. Food is available. 24 hours a day seven days a week as well as three main meals in the cafeteria. They provide weekly cleaning of your apartment, which is fantastic. Some of our family and friends after visiting are considering moving into Copper Springs.

After speaking to many happy current residents we moved my father into Copper Springs. The personnel are very professional and helpful. Having all meals provided and housekeeping done make it carefree for Dad. The only issue we have had was with the AC in Dad's apartment. It has failed a few times but I will give the staff an A+ for handling the situation with portable units to keep him comfortable while repairs are made. Dad has adjusted well and is enjoying his more carefree lifestyle.

This place is AMAZING! My grandmother has been at three different facilities. Although I had no major complaints about any of them, my grandma was unhappy and wanted to move to Copper Springs for her 4th attempt at finding her home. After she moved into Copper Springs, she and I have been blown away at the comfort, hospitality, amenities, service, and ease of living here. The on-sight, live-in, management of Grady and Lisa feel like living guardian angels for my grandmother and all the residents here.

What a classy place. Not only is it beautiful but so friendly. The staff is so caring and gentle with their residents and families visiting.
Jacqueline Deemer
Great place to live. Friendly residents and plenty of activities to participate in if you wish. Great menu and snacks available in the Chef’s Pantry. The management team is great.

I moved into Copper Springs last year. It has been a pleasure to be here. The people are so friendly, I felt right at home. The building is beautiful; I love the fish pond. The building is clean & well-maintained. The staff is very friendly & accommodating. I like the Chef’s Pantry & the ice cream machine is available 24 hours/day. Also, appreciate dining room meals three times daily seven days a week. Overall, I would highly recommend it.

Copper Springs is a beautiful community. The building is well-maintained and the staff and residents are amazing. The food is top quality and great options as well. If someone is looking for a 55-plus retirement community that is safe, caring, and can assist with general help Copper Springs is the place in East Valley of Phoenix, Arizona.
Grady Flowers
This place is beautiful and spotless. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. My mother loves it here. The food is pretty good most of the time and if they are serving something you don’t like there are hamburgers and fries, hotdogs, or pizza you can have made to order anytime during the day. I always see the manager willing to help out wherever needed.

Great place to live. Friendly people.

I was looking for a place for my father in law and am so happy I found Copper Springs. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They gave us a tour and answered all our questions. They made everything so easy and my father in law loves it here. I highly recommend this community.

Copper Springs is the best Senior living community I have ever been too. The people here are really nice and fun to talk too. There are always fun activities happening and the positivity is contagious!!! As always, a great place to eat as well!
Linsey Avants
There is a wonderful camaraderie between residents and staff here. I like to enjoy Happy Hour and Karaoke and visit with my neighbors. Our activities director is very good and always available for resident input.

I have been here at Copper Springs almost since the community opened. We have the best Lifestyle Director!
L.L.R
Our activity director continues to promote additional activities for residents to participate in. I like to play cribbage and go to our Happy Hours with live entertainment. I like poker, bridge, and Hand & Foot card game. We also have 2 types of Bingo which is a lot of fun!
Jim B
Our activity director makes sure there is something fun going on all the time here. There are card games, Wii bowling, corn hole and we have Happy Hour with music and dancing. I especially like going out to lunch once a month.
Kathy G
We have so many varied, excellent activities here. Trips for Lunch and Dinner, plays, games, entertainment, bible study, a movie every night in our large theater, our 2 ladies Tea events per year and our banquet birthday dinners., and more!
Ruthie B
Our Lifestyle Director brings in outstanding presenters and programs and gives us an opportunity to go to plays and concerts outside of Copper Springs community. We also have a neat activity about reminiscing where we bring our keepsake items in that bring us memories and do a show & tell type activity. We also had a fabulous Wine Pairing event where you could buy wine from local wineries after the event.
Duane M
I have lived at Copper Springs for 2 years. Our Lifestyle Director is very active in getting residents involved in the activities she plans for us. I updated the Karaoke program, and now many enjoy this activity.
Doug G
My favorite activities are the card games Hand, Knee and Foot, and Mexican Train. We have Bingo and Bridge as well. I like going to the Hale Theatre in Gilbert for plays. I would like to see trips to Chandler Center for the Arts come back!
Jeanette
Our Lifestyle Director is terrific at her job! She is so good at organizing the variety of activities we have here. She cares about the residents here as well. I like Pinocle, Happy Hour with live entertainment, and different groups who come to entertain.
Susie H
I enjoy the activities at Copper Springs. I love our Happy Hour with the ability to dance. Karaoke is lots of fun. What is especially nice is that our activities provide the time to truly get to know other residents.

Our experience with Copper Springs Retirement Community was very good. It's a nice place. It had big nice apartments. Overall, the facility was very good. They showed me all the amenities. In about a month or two, I may go over there before I make the final decision and try out the dinner. Everything looked fine. The theater room and the game room were nice. The staff was very nice. Jackie was the one I did the tour with and she did very well.
Richard
I love Copper Springs Retirement, it has been a great experience for me. The food is good and the staff here are very accommodating. The apartment sizes and accommodations are very nice!

Copper Springs Retirement Community is lovely. I told the staff if I had to go into a place one day, I would want my family to bring me into this one because it's like being on a cruise ship. I like everything about it. It's independent living but they would take care of my mother-in-law even if she got to where she needed more help. The apartments were very nice. They have a theater, which is gorgeous. There are kitchen facilities. You can eat there anytime. It is set up beautifully. Their dining facilities are great.

As Resident Managers of Copper Springs, Jackie and I have had the privilege of working with an Amazing Focus Team and Staff while providing a safe, fun, well-maintained, and clean community for our residents. We have enjoyed living, eating, and celebrating life with our community daily. RLC and our owner Breck Collingsworth, genuinely care for their staff, the residents, and the communities they provide. It's been an honor to work for such an honest company.
Bobby Massey
I went to Copper Springs Retirement Community. It was a very good tour. It was a welcoming community and it met all of my criteria with the neighborhood that it's in and the size of the apartments. The apartments were roomy. They were very well kept. The staff was very friendly and excited about their job and their property. The dining area looked like a restaurant. They had all the basic amenities. They showed everything. The outdoor spaces were well kept and airy.
Mike
My father has been in Copper Springs Retirement Community. It's very nice. There are three meals a day. It's conveniently located literally right across the street from a hospital as well as if we need to escalate his care. It is right next to another facility that could accommodate him if he needed additional help. The food is just simply outstanding. The activities are outstanding. They have a 110-seat movie theater and they show a movie every day. They have a wonderful dining facility, and if you don't like what they're serving for that particular breakfast, lunch or dinner, they will do a short order meal for you as well. They have an onsite bank, an onsite gym, and a hair salon. The other thing they have situated through the entire facility are little rooms that are like dining rooms, so if they wanted to bring larger groups of people or a family together, they could utilize these rooms for eating or playing games, and they're throughout the entire facility. They also have a billiards room, a piano that they can play, and a library they can use. It is amazing. You get your room, you get your meals, and you get free cable with free internet. They don't nickel and dime you on stuff.
Norman
the residents are what make the community! Wonderful welcoming people.

If you are looking for an Independent Living facility for yourself or a loved one, Copper Springs is a great choice for retirement. The atmosphere is very friendly, you will be greeted by a smiling face as you enter the building. With a 24-hour concierge, managers who live on-site, home cooked meals three times a day, weekly housekeeping, daily activities (both on site and off site), access to a fitness center, transportation to medical appoints and valet parking, this is truly luxury retirement!
Alexis L.
This is a great place to live. Wonderful staff, good food, friendly atmosphere and fun activities. Happy hour every Friday, daily movies in the theatre, corn hole, card games, art classes, karaoke, exercise classes, and more. There is always something to do. It is an all-inclusive resort lifestyle where you can truly relax and enjoy retirement.
Jackie Massey
I find that the residents of this community are all very happy to have a place like Copper Springs to call there home, the Management, staff work hard to keep the satisfaction level set high and all in all I believe we have pushed or goal

Great Residence. A place you love to take care!

My father is at Copper Springs Retirement Community. He has been there for eight months now. The community is fine. It's just different from assisted living. They still have some kind of amenities, but they don't have 24-hour care if he needs it. He can get it if he pays extra for overnight hours. But as far as the place itself, I don't have a problem with it. The staff there is great. I've had plenty of interactions with the concierge. Everybody has been so helpful. Everything is fine as far as the staff is. They're a little short-staffed in the kitchen, but they've had that little bit of a problem for a while now anyway. My father's room is just a one-bedroom apartment. It's nice and open so he can move around. It's a one-bedroom apartment, a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. He got a washer and dryer in the apartment, too. Some of the apartments are two bedrooms. On the second and third floors, some of them have balconies. They've got a library, they've got a little general store, they've got some little credit union and banking thing, and there's a post office. They've got a pool table on one of the floors. They're all relatively expensive, but as far as what he has, this is probably the most affordable as far as what he's got.
Jeffrey
I have chosen Copper Springs Retirement Community. That's the place where I'm going. They have happy hour tomorrow, and they've invited me to go, so I'm going to go and meet a few people and hopefully make a few nice friends. The whole place is independent. It was absolutely wonderful. They even treated me to a lunch. The food was good. I had a crab cake, and it was very good. The staff who assisted me during the tour, her name was Julia, and she was just wonderful. She took a lot of time with us. They got a lot of activities. You can be busy from 8:00 in the morning till 5:00 at night and beyond. They have a theater room, they show movies every night, and it's a nice, big theater room. I've never seen a place like this before. The apartment is very nice and very spacious. I'm settling on a two-bedroom, two-bathroom, a nice big living area and a nice kitchen. The staff was wonderful. It was fabulous. But what tipped the scales for me, too, was that they are nationwide, and they have the same exact setting in numerous states. I think they've got five in Florida, they've got a couple in Texas, they've got them all over. So you can go and stay at any one of them for up to one week free of charge. So you go on a vacation, you go to San Antonio, you check it out and see if they got one there and stay for a week for free and get all your food for free. That is like a real draw for me because I'm still young enough and I like to do more traveling and stuff.
Therasa
I really liked Copper Springs Retirement Community a lot. It was very pretty. They also had all kinds of extra little places that you could go to and have snacks during the day. You could have coffee, tea, and water. The movie theater was really nice. They had a gym and outdoors. It was all really, really nice. My only issue with that one was unfortunately it was a little bit farther from my home, but it was good. The staff was very good, very congenial, and very nice. The food looked really good. They had a nice menu.
Barbara
We really like Copper Springs Retirement Community. We were set to go soon and then the pandemic came and thank goodness we didn't because we would have been locked up for a year. We have some friends that were living there, and they had a little problem toward the end regarding the food because they keep changing cooks all the time. But it was open dining, which I liked. They have a theater which had enough for 100 people or more and they're all very comfortable. They had shows in there, and on Fridays, they had a party. There was nothing we didn't like. The apartments were big. The only thing I can say bad about it, is that there was nothing outside. No patio and you couldn't go out and sit around. There just wasn't any outside area. With this pandemic thing, everything kind of blew down and it was brand new, so there were a lot of activities. But this friend of mine who was living there, was active enough and there were a lot of things to do. They had a nice exercise room and there was enough for her to be occupied. The food was pretty good. I like the way they did it. They didn't serve a place of food at your table. You had a salad buffet and then you went through a line and you could have a little piece of meat or a big piece of meat or whatever size you wanted, and I kind of like that because sometimes you don't want something that's on your plate. It was two years ago, and my friend complained a little bit about it, but she was fussy. I like the way it was presented, but I don't want to say how good it was because that was two years ago.
Ramona
I lived there once. A great place. Now at Huntley Springs in Illinois. We had a great experience!
Leona Diedrick
Copper Springs Retirement Community is a friendly place, they're very accommodating, but the main reason was the large room, which is what we're looking for. We will be moving there. They deliver the food to the rooms, so there's no contact, the food is good, but sometimes it isn't, and that's nothing new in any place. They have more activities than others, they keep people pretty busy, and they go out to a places; this was before the virus started
