What I like best about Aspen Trail Retirement Community is that there is a friendly atmosphere here. We also get weekly housekeeping. We have outings, of course, and we have bus service every day if you need it for appointments and/or shopping. I also like the food service because you don't have to keep track of anything. The people are very, very sweet and nice. I haven't run across anybody who isn't, and I've been here three years. I could use a little more storage just because I'm such a pack rat, but you have your choice between two-bedroom and three-bedroom, and then there are various sizes of one-bedroom. They also have studios. They have a snack bar that is open 24/7, where you can go down and get water, a sandwich, chips, or granola bars, and that sort of thing. For activities, they have a couple of different kinds of bingo. There is quite a large bridge community. There is walking in a group throughout the complex or outside if the day is nice. It's more of a social thing as well as an exercise. I like Aspen Trail. I realize there are other places that are closer to $10000, but this is about half of that. However, I wish they were cheaper. There is a bank and a gas station, but they're not very close to us, so in that way, you have more privacy, and when you look out the window, it's not at some store. So the location is a plus.

Aspen Trail is a premier senior community here in Colorado Springs! My mother-in-law had lived in another senior community in the southwest part of the city for nearly 12 years before moving to Aspen Trail last December. Change is hard at any age, but everyone at Aspen Trail made Mom feel welcome and made the transition for her and for us as easy as possible. Connie, Kaitlyn, and Sterling lead a wonderful team of caring, thoughtful, friendly people who go out of their way to make life for everyone in the community a great experience. The residents at Aspen Trail are wonderful, welcoming people and they are an important part of the excellent experience Mom had there. The food is delicious and family is always welcome to join for meals and the many activities. In addition, the facility is lovely and beautifully maintained. Due to her advanced age and a more rapid decline in health than anticipated Mom was only at Aspen Trail for 6 months before she had to transition to assisted living, but during her time there Kaitlyn, Sterling, Connie and their team did everything they could to ensure Mom's happiness, health, and safety, going above and beyond when needed. This is an outstanding community and I strongly encourage others to make it their first choice.

Although we are not at Aspen Trail Retirement Community any longer because our son wanted us to be close to him so we moved out here and could not find a place just like Aspen Trail So we bought a house and while searching on the internet the other day we come across Glen Meadows Retirement Community and drove over there and talked to Miss Shelly. Well, the thing is when we walked in there everything was just like the one at Aspen Trails . Shelly had said that it was fairly new and had been built about 6 months ago .Had we known that it was going to be here we would have maybe rented something until they became available . Now we have to sell this house before we can move in there .But we are so looking forward to the day that we can do that. With all the amenities that are offered there and 3 meals a day +snacks to include ice cream and popcorn it is so worth every penny that you pay to live there .All the staff are very friendly and very helpful when you need something if they do not have the answer they will look into and find out for you. It was the same way at Aspen Trails in Colorado Springs Co. Todd and Ann are the only 2 names that I can remember for now at Aspen Trails ,but there were several others that were there that took care of things like the maintenance guy and the maid that came in and cleaned to the cooks who prepared all those awesome meals .It was all so wonderful and we are so looking forward to it again once we sell this house and can get in and settled in to start enjoying retirement once again .

I have worked at Aspen Trail for the past 2 years and I thoroughly enjoy it! I'm 52 years old and I can truthfully say this is the first job I've ever had that I look forward going to. The residents here are the main reason for that! It's like one big family. They play games together, put puzzles together, go on outings in our shuttle, and support each other. Aspen Trail is a Fantastic Community ! ! I have lived here for over 2 years, and am so thankful I left my previous Retirement Community. The staff is great - so focused on service. A weekly maid assigned for my housekeeping gives me a chance to make specific requests for housekeeping on that day. The Food is phenomenal - great variety of offerings for every meal. In my time here, I only contacted the Chef about 3 items which didn't taste right. The breakfast provides many options, including individual orders for eggs. The bus provides 2 days for transport to Doctor or other appointments, and 2 days of shopping at individually requested stores. Healthcare providers come at during the month, plus frequent Blood Pressure checks. The Community Manager is always approachable, and knows everyone by name. I can't think of any area that they don't handle with first-rate service ! !

My dad moved into Aspen Trail in Feb '21 and lived there for a year. The only reason for the move is we transitioned him to assisted living. The facility is absolutely beautiful, the residents are kind and helpful, and the staff is great. The food is very good with all kinds of extra offerings such as a coffee bar, salad bar, soup, etc. There is something for everyone. Although my dad didn't take part in a lot of activities due to his worsening dementia there is plenty to do. They have a resident workout in the gym every day, happy hours, bus trips, bingo, movies, etc... The staff gets to know the residents and enjoys interacting with them daily. We felt very welcomed there and were sad to leave.

Aspen Trail does not honor holiday reservations. I was unable to dine with my mother on CHRISTMAS DAY, because Todd Smith told her our reservation was scratched due to high demand. I was driving to Aspen Trail, from Denver, when Patti Dillon called to tell me I’d be late if not there by 11. The reservation was at 12:30. I could not make it. I’m greatly appreciative to Leslie for taking many months trying to find the perfect place for my high maintenance needs. I’ve met so many amazing residents and staff over the year. Things seem to be improving this current manager Lanny is one of the best we’ve had managers we’ve had in my opinion. He is always walking around the dining room and asking how everyone is doing he’s very approachable and always in a good mood and whenever I’m downstairs his office door is Always open literally.

Aspen Trail is amazing. Everybody who is there wants to be there. Whereas at other places we toured, the people looked like they were there because they had to be there, including the workers. Both the staff and the residents at Aspen Trail seem to love it there. It's basically a one-stop shop, with a bank, physical therapy, home health, and doctors who come and visit you in your apartment - it's all in-house. The apartments are very nice and spacious. They're brand new with updated appliances. There are also plenty of activities - they always have something going on.

The staff was truly sweet and nice to us from the moment we first walked in and the kitchen staff spoiled the girls! It’s a very beautiful top of of line retirement resort! The girls kept telling me how big and beautiful it was there and they loved the fish pond as well! Both girls enjoyed their cookie booth experience there!!!

The appearance of this facility, upon entering, is breathtaking. A huge koi pond and a pleasant aroma greet you and catch your senses. It's truly different than other retirement homes in that it doesn't seem like you're actually in one. With a bank, hairstylist, activity center, and plenty more. there are a lot of amenities for the residents to take part in. The dining facility is large and bright and the menus are outstanding. I strongly urge you to give Aspen Trails a good hard look if you are considering a move for yourself or your parents. The staff is friendly and you won't be disappointed with all the options available.

You have to visit to appreciate the facility's wide hallway, bright rooms, amenities (eg, salon, and more). Walking through, it seemed like an upscale resort with an indoor mall. The most outstanding feature for me was the dining/food operation--incredible menus, restaurant-like atmosphere, available at all hours. This was the first retirement facility where I immediately felt comfortable.

Every time I was there, the friendly staff and happy residents were more than willing to share their experiences. The sense of pride from the workers and the warmth I felt in the facility were always evident. Although I have not convinced my 91-year-old mom to move here from Arizona, I would not hesitate to have her reside in this well-maintained community.

We've chosen Aspen Trail Retirement Community for my mom, but we have not moved her in yet. What made us decide was the friendly atmosphere, and I think one of the things that convinced her was the way they did their food operation. She really liked the way it was different than the place she currently lives. She likes the way the food was organized. The staff member who walked us through during our tour was very friendly. She answered all our questions honestly and was very forthright. We had a very good experience on the tour. The facility was brand new, clean, attractive. It met all our requirements in terms of size and cleanliness. They have a church on site. They have a bank. They have activities that I think my mom would like. They have a crafts room and some classes that I think she'll actually take advantage of. They've all been wonderfully friendly and choosing to get to know her. They were asking her questions, and they were seemingly very interested in her.

The entire staff is wonderful and they offer so many amenities from concierge service, valet parking, theme parties, prime rib buffet brunch every Saturday, and so on. I am so happy we found a wonderful place for them to live!

My wife and I carefully explored the options in town for an independent living facility for her parents. We want a comfortable place to be their home with great food, safety, open and well-lit spaces, and opportunities to meet and interact with other seniors. Aspen Trail easily stood out above the others. The salesperson and onsight managers (they actually live there 24x7 and know what is going on in the facility!) spent considerable time with us, answering all of our questions. They are great people, along with everyone else we met. This is a good place to be!

We moved in on November 5th and have not stopped marveling, not only at the facilities which are fabulous, but the helpful and very capable staff. Gina and Gary's management style and careful attention to detail make Aspen Trail a truly exceptional place to call home. The meals are outstanding and would easily compete favorably with most of the finer restaurants in Colorado Springs. No institutional cooking here! Compliments to head chef Todd and his team. Building maintenance supervisor, Scott, is also eager to please and meet the needs of the residents. Norma and I cannot be more pleased with our decision.

Of all of the places that we've checked in the surrounding area, Aspen Trail is by far the most impressive! We did not find one negative, and absolutely feel very excited to move here in November. We learned everything we needed to know from these lovely people, and without a second thought, put down our deposit and selected our apartment.
