I was taken by the friendliness and the warmth that both men and women here gave to me and my daughter when we had lunch here on our interview day. I just loved the idea of the theatre and the salon. Everything seemed so easy to be at. I was taken by it from the beginning. Each day, I felt increasingly at ease with the ladies I sat with at lunch. They told me about all of the activities, and I joined them so I could meet more people. The men are the most gentlemanly people I've ever met. They bring their wives coffee in the morning and call them their "bride". When I was in Sarasota, I ran an assisted living facility out of my home, so I know what it's like to care for others. This has been a very loving home for me.

Every morning, I wake up grateful to be living at Red Hills Village. Just a few of the many activities to keep my mind active include Bridge, Samba, Rummikub, Chair Volleyball, and, don’t forget, Happy Hour. The food is delicious! Just ask my scale! The dining room staff are polite and go out of their way to stop by for a visit. The cleaning crew keeps the place spotless. Our maintenance supervisor keeps everything up and running. The bus takes us to appointments and outings! We are a true family!

My mom recently moved into the Red Hills Village community, and she has a new lease on life. All of the amenities have made her life so much simpler, and she’s getting to enjoy new activities and make new friends! She’s taking advantage of the exercise classes and loves the meals. Thanks to Red Hills Village, this might just be the best chapter of her life! Staff have all welcomed her with open arms and made the transition so smooth for her and for us. We had originally planned to visit 3 to 5 facilities, but as soon as she walked into Red Hills Village, she felt like she had found her new home.

Red Hills Village is an excellent place for the newly retired. A place where one can be pampered with meals, housekeeping, a washer and dryer in your apartment, and feel safe. I, too, like having Eastwood Pharmacy serving Red Hills and having a beautician and nail tech on site. Being part of a community of kind and caring people, including residents and staff, is an added bonus. My husband and I have been at Red Hills for almost four years, and we’re very happy here.

My wife has been a resident for awhile while I close up shop in Virginia so that I can move to Red Hills. I visit frequently and joke about being the visiting food critic. The food is wonderful. Renee, the chef, is a true treasure and joy. Clay, the sous chef, makes wonderful meals, but more importantly, he always has a smile and takes time to visit with the residents. Lindell who runs the front line always has something kind to say. Bottom line, your culinary experience at Red Hills will be wonderful.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The residents are welcoming and almost all seem very happy at Red Hills. We take walks in the neighborhood and it is quiet with lots of trees and birds. They have a service that provides help for folks who need assistance. Those helpers look clean, friendly, and competent--but we haven't needed any services yet. There is a new activity director so hopefully, there will be more activities provided.

I moved my mother into Red Hills in late December. It was a sudden and unplanned move. The staff at Red Hills made the transition as smooth as possible. Everyone is so kind, especially Laurie Love. It’s very nice. My Mother-in-law has been there for 4 years now. Her apartment came with a washer and dryer. One fee, all meals, light housekeeping, electricity, home phone, cable, internet, valet, bus service, gym, and activities. A very nice place. She loves it there!

When I came to Red Hills I was very pleased that I had immediate acceptance. There was no adjustment period. The apartment is comfortable, the food is good, the amenities are many and varied, and the other residents are friendly. I made a good choice.

Red Hills Village has the finest culinary experience you will find in Tallahassee! If they can cook it from scratch, they will. They don't serve a bunch of processed foods. residents get to eat as much as they want, and what they want. Grandmother loves the flexible dining hours! Residents have a window of opportunity to dine at their leisure, instead of a designated serving hour. The choices of food are abundant and nearly endless! The Prime Rib Brunch is off the charts! The staff are warm, friendly, happy and caring. Feels like home! Best choice by far!

We toured Red Hills Village Retirement Resort when searching for an Independent Living facility. This facility was excellent. The residents were friendly. The cleanliness was great. However, this facility was more expensive than most of the others that we toured.

This is a wonderful community. The facility is beautiful and the staff is amazing. The apartments are spacious and the layout is very open. The food and amenities are excellent. Everything is decorated for Christmas, with multiple Christmas trees, it's very beautiful.

I work for a Home Health agency in town. I recently took a tour of this beautiful community. The grounds and facility are just beautiful, warm, and welcoming. The staff were so friendly and welcoming to us. We had lunch as well and the food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and courteous. The movie theatre, billiards, and Lounge area looked amazing:-)

They are truly amazing at what they do, the way the care and are VERY HANDS ON in every aspect of the community! Very seldom, will you just see them behind a desk with a door closed. They listen attentively to our residents/staff and have a passion for making people happy! Red Hills Village Retirement Community was clean, neat, and efficient. Everything was right up to the way it should be. The disadvantage is there's no swimming pool. Everybody was really pleasant. Another thing we didn't like is its buffet style. You have to stand and get it and then they'll bring it to your table rather than having a waiter come to the table. There's a two-bedroom and one-bedroom, and they're very nice, clean, efficient, and had all the amenities. However, it's a long walk from the rooms to an elevator and that's a disadvantage.

I had a tour at Red Hills Retirement Resort- WOW!!! I was so impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the resort. I had a delicious lunch and was welcomed by associates as well as the other dining guests. Then, I was urged to participate in their “happy hour”. The live entertainment had me invigorated and I just had to get up and join everyone in the dancing & merriment. This is by far has the most lively and animated group I have ever encountered in retirement living. Red Hills is above & beyond 5 STAR!

I had a tour with the Resort and no other Senior Retirement stands to compare! The ambiance is that of A luxury resort, the food is 5 star first class, and the attitude and service of the associates is impressive. What really stood out for me was how vibrant and active the people are that live there. Speaking with one of the ladies that live there she stated, “it’s just like being on a cruise ship!” How appropriate, I thought the very same thing.

I had an in-person tour of Red Hills Village Retirement Community. The physical appearance is very good. The only thing that's kind of daunting is the housing development that's across the street. Just row after row after row of housing across the street. The grounds are very nice. I've been there twice for lunch. The food was very good, and there was a nice variety. The salad bar and the dessert bar are very nice. The staff was very good. I've talked to her several times. She was very helpful. We sat with other people that were housed there, and everyone was very nice. The staff was nice. One guy was working in the cafeteria, and he was especially uplifting. He was walking around and joking with the residents.

Red Hills Village Retirement Resort was beautiful. I remember, I was having trouble with my knees and this lady from the staff came over with a wheelchair. The place was clean and lovely. The rooms I saw were very nice. They have a full kitchen and I thought their studio apartment was very spacious.

We went to Red Hills Village Retirement Community. It was the fanciest and the newest of all the places we visited. It was very modern and updated. The apartments were beautiful, big, nice, had full kitchens, and were expensive. The staff member was fine; very nice, but new to the facility. There were several things she didn't really know about and that she had to check on. We dined there. They have buffet style food for all their meals, and I didn't care for that too much.
