Shell Harbor is a place I would highly recommend. Entering into the building you find a sense of comfort. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is homey! To know someone is always there and what matters the most! You can relax knowing your loved one is in great hands! The staff is always holding activities to keep your loved one involved as well! I highly recommend and encourage you to check them out!

As an agency and coming to this facility to visit residents, I’ve never had a problem or issue at Shell Harbor Retirement Community. Wonderful employees and great residents. This is a very neat and clean facility. This facility is always decorated for holidays. Easter has wonderful decorations up.

I visit Shell Harbor 4 days a week as I have a client who currently lives there. It is hands down the nicest I have been too. Very clean and spacious, the apartments are so nice. The staff is always so helpful and so kind. And it's always decorated so nice and very welcoming.

Shell harbor retirement community is a wonderful community. Very near and well kept up. Food looks and taste great, I know from personal experiences. Staff members are great, always with a smile and ready to assist.

This is by far one of the nicest places I have had the pleasure of visiting 4 days a week as a client of mine lives there. From the time you walk in the door to the time you leave. And it is always so beautifully decorated and so inviting.

I have worked at Shell Harbor for little over a year and I love my job. The residents are wonderful and have become part of my family as have some of the employees. It seems like a wonderful place to live with lots of good food and activities for all. If you are looking for a safe beautiful place to live check it out!

We moved to Shell Harbor when it first opened in 2021 and we have never regretted doing so. The facility is beautiful. We have a nice apartment. We feel very safe here. We love the people. I have worked at multiple senior living communities in Georgia and coming to RLC Communities with Shell Harbor has been by far the best experience as a Life Style Director also known as Activities Director. It has always been a pleasure to serve residents in my position however working at Shell is by far the best experience working with employees who have the same passion and dedication to our residents. It is a special privilege to serve with them daily! The concierge team, sales, and kitchen staff, and housekeeping are always kind and willing to go above and beyond to make our residents top priority! I have never felt this much support from management in my years in Senior living. Moving to Florida for my job has been the best blessing! If I had a parents I would highly recommend Shell Harbor as their home and I would highly recommend them as an employer!

I am so lucky to live at Shell Harbor as I watched it being built. I have lived in two other facilities so I was able to compare it well. Of course I did not hesitate to move in once it was built. I got a one bedroom apartment and put in hardwood floors as I am in a wheelchair. I also took off the closet door so I could get in it with my wheelchair. They will do everything they can to make life easier for you. We have a wonderful maintenance worker that is capable and able to help with anything and everything. We have a beautiful dining room that has a great chef with delicious food. You will always have a choice of sandwiches, snacks, a fresh salad bar plus two kinds of soups and an ice cream machine with chocolate and caramel sauces available all day. We all enjoy our 150-seat theater to see entertainment and good movies. Once a month we have special dinners for birthdays and anniversaries. Also, once a month we have elaborate dinners and dances with entertainment.

I am so thankful to be in this beautiful place! About six months after we moved in my husband passed away naturally it was very hard, but the people here are so wonderful, loving, caring, and supportive they don’t like for you to be alone to eat. Everyone has been nothing but kind and caring and loving to me I would recommend This place to anyone who wants an upscale, loving, caring place to live in your older years! I love living here, and I thank God every day for this place and all the wonderful care that I receive!

Shell Harbor is relatively new—2 years old. It’s beautiful and kept clean. The staff are kind and thoughtful. The residents are friendly. The food is good and always plenty to eat.

Started working at this beautiful retirement community right after the holidays, and I have to say that I am very pleased. The residents are absolutely wonderful and the community itself is gorgeous! Very relaxed and pleasant vibe. Highly recommend.

Is it the warm fire on our left as we walk through the near – silent sliding front doors? Or maybe our smiling concierge who welcomes us by name. Maybe it’s the ever-changing and beautifully decorated table or the cascading waterfall, home to Koi fish. These few things set us at ease knowing we are home. Yes, Shell Harbor is our home now. We were first to enter on opening day, planning to “try it – this resort, style living.“ We were reluctant to move from our home to apartment living. We learned right away that there were plenty of activities, so no need to stay in the apartment unless we chose to do so. Main Street was a great feature with the Fitness Center, General Store, Beauty/Barber Shop and Theater. The Dining Room and Lounge are truly the hub of everything. While meals can be delivered to the apartment, the dining room is where we find lots of mingling and table sharing, along with eating. The lounge is where everyone gathers for card and board games, bingo, trivia, Wii sports and Happy Hour on Fridays. The Theater often hosts entertainers, as well as movies, guest speakers, documentaries, seasonal presentations and Managers Meetings. All things put together have convinced me that Shell Harbor is a great place to live. Maybe not perfect, (is anything?) but it is a great place where my husband and I can be together surrounded by many talented people who have become friends. They share our happy and sad days; tell us they miss us when we travel or just stay home. We also feel most blessed that we have such a wonderful staff of people who work tirelessly to serve us “from the heart“. It is often obvious when people love the work they do, and we see it in many of our staff, including those who have worked here from the beginning. So, if you’re thinking of changing your lifestyle to a more carefree one, I heartedly recommend Shell Harbor. I’m sure our Senior Living Consultant will be happy to give you a grand tour – or if you have questions, feel free to come and see us. We will sit out on Main Street have a cup of coffee or an ice cream and talk about the myriad of services & amenities we enjoy here at Shell Harbor. A few of which are our own washer/dryer in the apartment, full kitchens, huge closets, high ceilings, private safes, and transportation for appointments and outside events. These all make for stress-free living!

LIVELY – Shell Harbor has an Activity Director and Staff that keeps Mom and her friends and neighbors active, from puzzles every morning with the Concierge to Friday afternoon Happy Hours and everything in between. LOVELY – As you enter the building you see a beautiful water feature that is decorated with love and creativity depending on the season. You literally feel like you are on a cruise ship as you walk the halls. HAPPY – The number one important thing in this list is happiness, the Residents all seem Happy and just as important, the Staff all seem happy as well. ATTENTIVE – The Staff is quite attentive, this goes for everyone you come in contact including the Concierge, On Site Management Team (Husband and Wife Duo), Sales Director/Resident IT person, Kitchen/Dining Room, Housekeeping and Maintenance. Have you ever wanted to live on a cruise ship - without the seasickness of course. Imagine a place with great food, lots of fun activities, full gym, on-site drug store, on-site full service beauty salon, fantastic kitchen, wait and housekeeping staff and amazing management staff and you have a cruise ship on land. You have Shell Harbor.

The lounge is where everyone gathers for card and board games, Bingo, Wii Sports, Trivia and and happy hour on Friday. The theater often host entertainers as well as movie demonstration documentaries and managers meeting. All things put together has convinced me that Shell Harbor is just a great place to live. Maybe not perfect but it is a great place where my husband and I can be together surrounded by many talented people and wonderful staff Who have become friends they share our happy and sad days tell us they miss us when we travel or just stay home. We also feel most blessed that we have such a wonderful staff of people who work tirelessly to serve us from the heart. They are trustworthy and pleasant and seem to love their job. Everyone has a chance to enjoy a choice of games and activities to earn Shell Harbor resort money to use at our auctions twice a year. You never have to be bored or lonely as everyone is friendly and wants to play cards, bingo, mahjong, bean bag, baseball, Rummikube, Domino's, bridge, blackjack, trivia, Bible study, karaoke, and anything else you can think of. There is a bus that takes you to the store, doctor, band concerts, and other events. We all have our own washers and dryers which is so convenient. We also have a fantastic library. We have access to an off-site pool; pets are welcome, happy hour to get to know your neighbors, church services in our theater, a beauty shop plus a store, and prescriptions can delivered to you. A dermatologist, a podiatrist, blood pressure checks, hearing aids checked, and dentists (tooth fairy) will all come to your apartment. Even an X-ray machine will come to your apartment. Just press a button and someone comes here to help. There is really nothing more you can want that you cannot find here at Shell Harbor.

Arriving at Shell Harbor in April 2023, I was pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful the building was. I felt like I was in a five-star hotel in NYC. As you enter the building you are greeted by the Concierge who will welcome you to Shell Harbor. The Concierge will be more than happy to direct you to the person that you have an appointment with. If you are there to meet with the Senior Living Consultant, you will be directed to his office, and will answer any questions that you might have. The staff here at Shell Harbor is very professional and friendly to all of the residents and their visitors. I encourage anyone who is interested in finding a great retirement community to check out what Shell Harbor has to offer.

I moved my mother here from another state last year. I went to every single retirement community in Brevard County and Shell Harbor is the best one overall. The apartments are spacious, the facilities are very good. The restaurant provides excellent meals. They have a movie theater, gym, hair salon, and much more. There is always someone at the front desk 24-7. The staff is very friendly and attentive to the residents. They also provide transportation for residents for shopping and appointments. Family members are welcome to dine with their residents for a small fee. My mother loves it and has made lots of friends and it keeps her moving every single day. And by the way, they have great ice cream!

The food is very good, the rooms are comfortable and beautiful and the residence offers varied activities, including a French conversation class. The staff is friendly and accommodating, I love being able to socialize with like-minded people!

Spacious and very clean apartments with large dining room, activities/bar area, and the largest theater of any of the 7 properties we toured before making a decision. Large comfortable library with several rooms for small gatherings. Friendly staff and housekeeping get an A+!

I toured Shell Harbor Retirement. They explained everything in detail. The place was extremely clean. Everyone was happy there. I know I'm going to be happy there. I'll be moving at the beginning of the month. I'm pleased. Of all the places that I looked at, this was by far the best. Inside the apartment, there is a full kitchen. It has a washer and dryer, and a complete bathroom. I'll have a living room and a porch outside. It has everything I need. It has a storage and a walk-in closet. The staff who toured me was very informative. The food is very good, too. It has hurricane windows and it's secure. It has fire protection so that if it catches fire, it won't go through the whole building. The smoke would go up and out through the ceiling.

My mother is currently a resident at Shell Harbor Retirement Community and everything is great! She rates this facility at a 5 for everything. We would recommend this facility to family and friends. We're extremely satisfied with everything here at Shell Harbor.

My wife and I love it here. The food is excellent. And one can order room service, but beware, it's almost never delivered exactly as ordered. Missing items. You're better off going to the dining room. Sometimes though room service isn't just an option. I wish we had chef Jeff's phone number. I'm sure he would correct the situation.

I love it here!! The residents are very nice. They watch out for one another. The managers are quick to implement improvements. And the apartments are beautiful. Pets are welcome. It's a beautiful place to live.

Shell Harbor Retirement felt like being on a cruise, but then you can just go back to your own house. It seemed like a good environment. I would live there myself. I liked how everybody was so nice. I liked the staff's knowledge of the facility and their joy for the facility. They believe in what they're doing. I think that they paid attention to detail when they were building the facility and wanted to provide the very best for the residents there. They had a gym, a very large dining room, a great theater, an outdoor fire pit, and even a pharmacy with pharmacists who would do individual packaging for each day's pill for free. It was just good.

We are in a 2 bedroom apartment- it is bright and big and has wonderful storage space. The parking is easy. The food is very good - we are in transition right now getting a new chef. They have a lot of activities provided for the residents and they add more all the time especially if residents show interest. It is a very friendly atmosphere and I would definitely recommend Shell Harbor to others looking.

I toured Shell Harbor Retirement, and by far, it's the best. The tour was very well organized. The people were very friendly, not just the staff that work there, but also the people who live there. We looked at a two-bedroom apartment, and it was by standards of two bedrooms. It was very spacious, and it had walk-in closets, which is a nice feature when you're moving into a place like that. Most of the other places we looked at did not have walk-in closets. They have a nice dining room. They have three meals a day. You could pick and choose obviously not to go to all three. You can have room service delivery of meals. It would be like living in a fine hotel where you have room service, and you can have valet parking if you want it. They can bring your car around when you want. It was a very positive tour. It's so new and everything was spiffy, painted, and shiny. It's raised for a level four category for hurricane, which is comforting. They have a big diesel generator to give them basic power that you would need if the power went out, so they thought of everything, and it's a well-designed place. We ate lunch there, and it was very good. We looked at the menus and they had very nice selections for lunch, dinner, and breakfast, and they're very well done.

I'm at Shell Harbor Retirement. It's a brand new facility. It offers very gracious community activities. It's well-staffed. Excellent food is one of their specialties. There's a spacious kitchen and it's well equipped. The entire unit is brand new and meant to be comfortable with great closets. The only thing I'm sliding it on is the lack of a pool.

We found Shell Harper is the best place for my father-in-law. They have everything any retired person needs and still keep their independence. They opened last year so everything is brand new and clean. The staff is very friendly and available 24 hours for the residents' convenience and emergencies. My father-in-law couldn’t be happier anywhere else.

We toured Shell Harbor Retirement. It's very nice, brand new, nice-looking, and nice layout. The interior is beautiful. It does not have garages; it has carports. We looked at a two-bedroom. It was nicely laid out. Some had balconies, but the ones that we looked at did not have balconies. The staff was very good. They showed us around. It's a beautiful place. It has all the amenities. It does not have a swimming pool; that's the only amenity that they didn't have. They have three meals a day, and we don't think that we need three meals a day. They have plenty of activities. They have a theater room, and a church group was in there having some kind of meeting. They have movies in there at night. They have an exercise room. The place was very clean. The bedroom that we saw, no one had ever been there. It was brand new.

Shell Harbor is very pleasant and very friendly - which is very important. They could offer more activities, but they have housekeeping services once a week, and a washer and dryer in unit. If you're not up to it, they'll do your laundry for an additional fee. They'll deliver any meal to your door for no additional cost if you don't want to go down to the dining area. I have cable and internet and the apartments are beautiful. I have a 2 bedroom 2 bath, with a full kitchen and lots of storage. There's free parking with plenty of spots in the lot, and covered parking is available for a fee. There's also a valet service to bring your car up for you, and if you have a walker, they'll help you in your car. They offer transportation M-F to appointments and stores. We especially like that if you move to independent to assisted living, you're allowed to stay in your apartment with caregivers/aides who will come in and help you. That extra help does come at an additional cost, but that's the case with other communities as well.

I love it here! It's a wonderful place. It doesn't pretend to be assisted living. It's not - it's independent living. But they have arrangements for emergencies. And if you get sick and you need more help, you can hire for it. That helps them keep their prices down, and then you only pay for what you need. I love my apartment. I have one of the smallest ones here, but it's very nice. I can't say enough good things - and certainly for the price - no question. Everybody I know feels the same way. We say to each other "Aren't we lucky to be in such a wonderful place?" Everybody is very friendly and talks to everybody. We eat together and go to happy hour together. There's also transportation to go to doctor appointments within a 10-mile radius, included at no extra charge. You get three meals a day and utilities all included (electric, internet, TV, phone, etc.).

They're very welcoming and very helpful. And they're there to help you with anything you need. The apartment is nice. It was new when my loved one moved in, so it was very clean. And it's a nice size.

I am very happy to give Shell Harbor my highest review. Initially, my dad did not want to leave Merritt Island but after visiting Shell Harbor in Rockledge and talking to several friends that had moved in (rave reviews: “It’s like living on a cruise ship”), he was ready. The entire staff could not have been more helpful. The facility is brand new – it opened on Sept. 1 – and the facility, apartments, and grounds are beautiful. The live-in management team – Paul and Hala Nichols along with Justin Estrich (Sr. Living Consultant) are available to assist in any way to help with the move-in and beyond. Every effort is made by the staff to accommodate the needs of the residents. The dining staff from the chef to servers could not be more helpful and the food and food choices are plentiful and always freshly made. There are planned activities every day and many social opportunities if wanted. A beautiful gym, sauna, salon, and pharmacy are also onsite as well as a concierge team (led by Chris). They offer transportation and have a hospitality suite for guests. The amenities go on and on and if you are a senior or have a senior in your life, you owe it to yourself to check it out. My dad is safe, happy, and loves his new home. I couldn’t be happier knowing he never has to eat alone again. I highly recommend Shell Harbor.
