Creek Valley Retirement Community

Creek Valley is an amazing community for seniors. They truly stand out from the pack in many ways. Whether it is memory care, assisted living, skilled nursing or independent living, living solutions for senior citizens are generally expensive and a terrible value. Creek Valley is challenging this expectation. Creek Valley is an independent living facility where each resident has his or her own apartment, but housekeeping, meals and all utilities including internet and cable are included. For seniors who need a bit more support, there are options for home health assistants to come in for an affordable hourly rate. There's also a physical therapy office on site that is billable through insurance. We chose Creek Valley for my dad who had been living on his own, but needed some extra support after a 60-day hospital stay. During this same time, he was advised not to drive any longer. He has been able to do his physical therapy onsite and gotten great results. He has the privacy of his own apartment, but is able to eat meals with friends or visit the onsite movie theater in the evenings. As his world has gotten a bit smaller as he has aged and is not able to drive, the environment at Creek Valley brings the world to its residents. In many ways, his world actually now feels larger than when he was more isolated living on his own. He can walk down the hall to the General Store or Hair Salon. On Mondays, he attends a Bible study right there in the building. He loves the food - including a fresh soup, salad and fruit bar. He appreciates the "Chef's Pantry" that is available 24/7 to residents to pick up a sandwich, hard-boiled egg, chips, cookies or other snacks. There is a popcorn and ice cream machine available to the residents at any time. On days when he isn't feeling up to par, Creek Valley offers free meal delivery right to the room. Having internet connectivity means that my dad has been able to enjoy using his Alexa that we bought him. He's listening to music and audiobooks - things he would not have explored living on his own. One of our family members said that it seems like he is like he was 5 years ago again - aging in reverse! As family members, we truly appreciate the wonderful staff at Creek Valley. There has been incredible stability among the staff -- in an industry not known for long tenures. The staff members are welcoming, friendly and go the extra mile for their residents. From working with Bob in the exploratory phase to Maryann and Bonnie at the concierge desk to onsite managers, Rob and Christine, to the Executive Chef, Sean and his dining room manager, Olivia, the staff is wonderful and has created something very special. Before considering assisted living, I highly recommend checking out independent living at Creek Valley and then augmenting with hourly home health services as needed. Not only are you likely to come out money ahead, but the experience at Creek Valley can't even compare to most assisted living facilities. Oh...and did I mention that the place always smells amazing? It smells fresh and slightly lemon-y, but not too heavily perfumed. To me, it smells similar to the fragrance used in most Marriott hotel lobbies. We've seen our dad blossom again and heal at Creek Valley. We've seen him go from struggling with loneliness after the loss of his spouse to thriving and making new friends. We've seen him go from using a walker and avoiding physical activity to getting stronger with physical therapy and daily visits to the fitness center at Creek Valley. We thought he would eventually go back to his home. Now, I'm not sure that is going to be the case. He has had such an amazing experience that I'm not sure why he would leave.

My family and I had a tour of Creek Valley Retirement Center. My wife and I thought of all of the communities we looked at this was by far the best. Bob, who showed us the complete facility was great. He listened to our needs and made great suggestions.

Bob, gave us a great tour of the resort like atmosphere of RLC. I was very impressed by the floor plan of the individual units and the community as a whole. I especially like that folks that stay here can also stay at other units located in the network across the country

Creek Valley is a vibrant and beautiful community. The rooms are spacious and the amenities top notch. The residents are so friendly and happy to answer questions. The food was delicious! They say it’s a cruise ship on land and they aren’t kidding.

A beautiful new facility that has everything the parents want. They can eat any time, the staff is incredibly helpful, and there's always something going on. The list of amenities and services are remarkable. We love it, but most importantly, the parents love it.

My husband and I have been at Creek Valley for 4 months. It was a huge decision for us, but one that we have not regretted. The people, both the staff and the residents, are wonderful. The food is very good. We enjoy the wide array of activities and the special events. This has become home.

Moving to Creek Valley has proven to be a very, very wise decision. We moved from Jefferson City to Creek Valley to be near our daughter and her family. We were leaving our friends, our church community, and our favorite restaurants, etc., and so we were a bit intrepid. We shouldn't have been. Creek Valley is a wonderful community with warm, friendly people and the management is excellent. The food, the activities and our apartment are all top notch.

My husband and I uprooted our lives after thirty-four years of living in Jefferson City. We moved to be closer to our children and grandchildren. We knew there would be a period of adjustment to our new lifestyle choice. That period has been swift and so very positive. We almost instantly loved being at Creek Valley. The staff and the residents are kind and helpful. The food is delicious. There are lots of activities and resources. What a blessing this move has been!

My parents moved into Creek Valley a few months ago. They have been very pleased with the facilities, activities, food and the friendliness of the staff and are enjoying the community activity. The apartment is spacious, cleaning weekly and great to have a washer and dryer in their apartment. Creek Valley offers garage parking which is a real plus along with Valet parking. Great place to enjoy your retirement days!

Creek Valley Retirement Community is a gem! Rob and Christina are wonderful managers. They are always working and making sure every resident is happy, social, and safe. My mom was in 2 different independent living facilities, but this one was the best place she lived in. The food was good and my mom was a picky eater. She never complained about the food once she moved here!

I took a tour of Creek Valley & had lunch. It really is so beautiful, clean, & lots of activities. The rooms are big & some residents talked to us & told us how much they like it. The meal was super delicious & the staff were all friendly.

I chose Creek Valley Retirement Community. It was modern. It was larger than the ones I looked at and had more activities and amenities. There's a movie with 150 seats, games and cards, and, my daughter's particularly interested in art, and there are some art things. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. The residents were very nice. They came up to me and asked if I like to play this game and they were very pleasant.

Best place ever. Unique to all other over 55 communities. Creek Valley is in a category all by itself!

I toured 4 other communities before stopping at Creek Valley. The facilities are superb, clean, and bright with lots of open and shared-use areas. The menu options were extensive and flexible, and the food looked delicious. The residences offered the most space and amenities (including a dishwasher and a washer/dryer) compared to all other places visited. The staff and residents were all very friendly and accommodating. Bob went out of his way to accommodate my mother’s requests during our two visits to Creek Valley. If I was ready to sell my home, this is where I would be.

I’m a hairdresser at this senior apartment community. Creek Valley has set the bar for what a top-notch community should be. Clean friendly and more than fun! I look forward to coming to work. Everybody is so welcoming. All make me feel a part of the community. Top-notch managers as well, who live on site.

I looked at MANY communities and let me just say that Creek Valley is the Taj Mahal! I truly believe that the cost is not out of line with what you get…LOTS of storage, full kitchen, large living areas, ceiling fans, a real laundry room, exceptional meal service, weekly housekeeping, keypad entry. Everything is truly top notch and the facility itself is absolutely beautiful.

I visited 10 independent living communities in the St Louis region Creek Valley was clearly superior to the others. Great food 3 times daily. Great management 24 hours a day with live-in managers. All managers are top-notch. The facility is attractive, well-maintained and well-designed. All this without a gigantic upfront buy-in fee. A tour confirms that all the residents are friendly and happy with their homes. A number of residents have moved to Creek Valley from other communities and wish they had moved earlier. For me, the decision to pick Creek Valley was a no-brainer.

Have lived in another community and this is hands-down the best. Can find no faults.

We have lived here since it opened and it has been awesome. We love our apartment but more than that we have wonderful residents who support each other and truly are “family” to each other. If you are looking for a senior independent living Creek Valley is the place to be.

This is a wonderful place. We moved my mother-in-law in 6 weeks ago. She is so happy and her health has improved. The staff is fantastic. The food is fabulous. The atmosphere is so pleasant. Best decision we could have made.

The Creek Valley community is new and our loved ones were one of the first ones to move in which was nice. The price was fairly reasonable and the community is in a great location. It is easy to get to and close by all different shopping stores. Our loved ones are settled in and doing good. The meals and dining experience is very good and based on everything we have seen so far with Creek Valley we would recommend them to other families.

Creek Valley is like one big family. In sickness and in health!

We toured Cactus Valley in Nevada and when we came to Ellisville, we were so happy to find a sister community - complete with all the luxury and comfort. We were the first residents to move in at Creek Valley. It has lived up to and surpassed our expectations. The Koi pond is a good gathering place to meet new people. If you like cards, games, art, gardening, billiards, and more, then you need to come on over and visit Creek Valley. We are waiting to welcome you!

We are neighbors directly to the south of your Ellisville, Mo. location. I wanted to take a minute to thank you and your staff for being such good neighbors. We have been so pleased at the few problems that we have had and how quickly those problems were resolved. The new white fence is such an improvement that it had the entire neighborhood talking. We look forward to seeing the completed project, as I'm sure you are too. We were lucky that you and your company found your way to Ellisville.
