What a wonderful place to live! The managers Joyce and Robert McBride and their staff do an outstanding job!!! There are plenty of activities to keep you busy if that’s what you like!! The food is very good and they have a great selection daily The residents are amiable and we have made many new friends. This is 5-star resort living!!!

As a healthcare professional, I love working with Cactus Valley! All of the staff are genuinely happy to work there, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. April, the activities director, truly stands out—she goes above and beyond for the residents, and her passion for what she does is clear. My clients who have lived at Cactus Valley always have wonderful things to say about their experience. This community feels like home and provides an amazing environment for independent living. I highly recommend Cactus Valley to anyone looking for a welcoming and vibrant independent living community.

All l can say is WOW ! My mother in law moved into Cactus Valley at the beginning of Sept/24 . My whole family is from Canada and we had to go there 1st week of September as my father in law passed away . The whole team at Cactus Valley from the co managers Robert & Joyce to the sales manager Sherrill were the most respectful , thoughtful and understanding people I’ve ever met . This place is unbelievable! The food is great and the kitchen staff is awesome ! Everyone here is so nice and kind and go out of their way to assist you with anything . I can’t say enough about the staff , amenities, and wonderful people that reside here as they also go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and at home . Again Robert & Joyce you are an awesome team !! If I were an American living in Las Vegas I truly know where I would want to live out my senior years , Cactus Valley ! If you are searching for a wonderful living environment for your older mother, father, family member, or loved one, look no further. The Cactus Valley Retirement Resort is the place to be. Cactus Valley would not be what it is without its incredible staff. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the love and pride emanating from the employees. Every single employee here is kind, respectful, thoughtful, and passionate. They set the bar high for others to show up heart centered. The amenities at Cactus Valley are endless. The cleanliness and overall aesthetic of Cactus Valley creates a quality of life that is top notch. Cactus Valley is more than a community – it’s an extended family. It’s a place where we know we are safe. We are a diverse group of residents who share the joy of experiencing Cactus Valley’s way of life. As a resident of Cactus Valley for over 5 years, I made the right decision to spend the rest of my life here.

We are relatively new to Cactus Valley, we relocated from Sun City Anthem and have really enjoyed ourselves since we moved here last fall. Our apartment is very spacious with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, washer/dryer, and large closets, I was not sure my oversized bedroom set would fit, but the room is plenty big with room to spare. My husband enjoys breakfast each morning, although he may be overdoing it with the bacon, sausage, and made-to-order omelets! We enjoy socializing with the other **tenants*** (what do they call you?), at meals and the other special occasion events that Cactus Valley offers throughout each month. We have found a community that we thoroughly enjoy and have recommended to many of our friends.

We toured Cactus Valley Retirement Resort and that was fabulous. Everything's a vibe, the food, the stuff, the residents, and the layout. They have one-bedroom and two-bedrooms with and without balconies. They have a beautiful big movie theater and a very nice lobby. We met the chef. He was very nice. He told us all what he was doing and how he made the changes and was very informative.

My aunt and I toured Cactus Valley with Tammy and she was wonderful! She showed us two beautiful apartments and all the fabulous amenities the community has to offer. My aunt especially loved the salon so she could get her hair and nails done right in her community! Tammy, the staff, and the residents we met were so very kind and made us comfortable from the jump. A wonderful place to call home!

My visit to Cactus Valley Retirement Community with my grandma was truly delightful. The community shared a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the tour left us thoroughly impressed. One standout feature that caught my grandma's attention was the on-property theater, which screens movies twice a day and boasts a seating capacity of up to 150 people. The availability of such an amenity not only provides entertainment but also fosters a sense of community among the residents. The well-designed facilities, coupled with the friendly staff we encountered during our visit, made Cactus Valley a standout choice for those seeking a vibrant and comfortable retirement living experience.

This is a great place to move to for seniors. Lots of fun activities and good food, the soft-serve ice cream machine is the best! The staff is super friendly, warm, and caring, apartments and community are clean, well-kept, and absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for retirement bliss, this place is it.

I toured this beautiful community with my grandma and we absolutely loved it! It is so well put together and both the residents and staff are so warm and friendly! The Sales Manager took extra special time and care and made us feel as if we were at home during the entire community. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

I have worked with this community since 2019 and it is fantastic. The staff and community itself continue to outdo themselves daily. The Senior Living Consultant is wonderful and we have become a great team helping seniors find their happy lifestyle and aging with a purpose. She and the rest of the team make Cactus Valley home.

I lived at Cactus Valley for 9 months and enjoyed every minute of my stay there.

We were looking for a place for our mom to be closer to us after my Dad's passing. We toured many communities and spent countless hours researching. We found that most were lacking the compassion that our mom needed after having gone through such a devastating loss. All of the staff has been extremely helpful and friendly making sure that all of her questions and needs are met. She has made many new friends that she refers to as family. Our family is very happy of the decision we made in choosing Cactus Valley as her new home.

After touring many communities to find a future home for our parents, we are confident that Cactus Valley is the best place for them. They are conveniently located close to St. Rose Hospital and all of their doctor and specialists offices. Transportation is provided to their appointments and all staff is friendly and professional. Food is fantastic with many selections to choose from. Residents seem to enjoy living here, we had the opportunity to meet with several of them over lunch and they loved talking about how happy they are living here.

I think Cactus Valley is a very friendly community. However, they have constant staff turnover. The buffet dining has long lines sometimes, medium quality good. Pricey yearly increases.

My wife and I recently toured this facility as we are looking for a perfect spot to enjoy our retirement and have some fun. Our main focus was the activities and how we would spend our down time. Veronica was wonderful and gave us a tour of the entire community- also expressing what kind of fun things there are to do on a daily bases. What I witnessed was horrendous. We witnessed activities director, April, blatantly BUT indirectly humiliating and belittling one of her staff members. The young boy just stood their and took it with such respect. I was immediately turned off to the entire facility and politely declined to speak further about a possible future there. If April treats her staff that way, it is a direct representation of who she is and how we would have inevitably been treated as well. I would recommend finding a new activities advisor. Because of her and her alone. You lost a potential resident. I will be advising all of my friends currently looking for a retirement facility to steer clear from Cactus Valley.

I recently moved into Cactus Valley after living in a similar facility in Henderson. The difference between the two facilities is amazing. This apartment is much larger for the same cost. Management and staff have been very friendly and helpful. The food and food service are top-notch here. My maintenance requests have been taken care of by the next day. The residents have been friendly and helpful in introducing me to the various activities and have made me feel right at home. I am very happy that I chose Cactus Valley as my new home.

My father passed away on December 14, 2021. The only person in management to offer their sympathy was Diane Johnson, the Lifestyle Coordinator. Not only did management not acknowledge my father's death, three weeks later my mother was informed that her rent was going to be increased. (Don't even get me started on the food; it's not very good, and I have the photos to prove it.) Needless to say, my mom has become disenchanted with Cactus Valley and is actively searching for another retirement community.

The staff is very attentive and caring to all of the residents. There are so many activities that you need to plan your day in order to enjoy yourself. The facility is very clean, open, and bright. The food is excellent and the chef appreciates suggestions and recipes. Michelle is the Senior Living Consultant and she will welcome you and help you begin a wonderful stay at Cactus Valley.

I have worked here for about a year and I absolutely love what I do! The residents of Cactus Valley are absolutely wonderful. They are my extended family. Working for RLC has been such a wonderful experience.

My wife, Raquel, has been working here for a few months now, and she absolutely loves the people she works with and the people she works for. She is really enjoying being of service to the residents. I am so please that she is happy there. I have confidence that Cactus Valley is a wonderful place to work and live.

Chef Garrett has gone up and beyond to be a leader, trainer, and an amazing chef. He has made this opening, gone way easier by just being him.

Vaughn has done an exceptional job helping my parents, Dough and Mitzi. He has worked with my dad with strengthening his cognitive skills with noticeable improvements. He has also done an amazing job with activities and exercise. Both my mom and dad have improved in health.

My balance is improving thanks to Vaughn's exercise class.

Vaughn is always enthusiastic and energetic. He is constantly adding new activities to keep us busy and happy. His exercise class is one of my favorite and has helped me a lot!
