My experience has been great!

I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR SEVEN YEARS AND AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE FOOD, SERVICE, STAFF, ACTIVITIES, AND PROGRAMS. THE FREE USE OF SISTER FACILITIES IS PARTICULARLY GOOD. I AM HAPPY TO RECOMMEND ASHWOOD HEARTILY

I have lived at Ashwood Square for almost seven years. I love that I do not have to cook or clean. Our managers, Bethany and Glen, have been great. Come and visit.

Our Aunt is happy with the Senior apartment living at Ashwood Square. She was not eating properly before moving in, and she now has the opportunity for three nice meals a day on the property. Amenities such as a Salon, pharmacy for prescriptions, church services, fitness room with classes, and various other holiday activities have been really nice.

We have an especially strong staff led by managers Bethany and Glenn Root. In all my years(92), I have never been part of an organization that runs so smoothly as a well-oiled machine. The Roots have so many innovative ideas that continue to make our lives here so much better!! A great place with friendly residents and the BEST MGRS EVER IN THE ROOTS!!!!

Staff are friendly. Meals are generally good. I would recommend Ashwood Square for seniors who need minimal assistance with living.

I've been a resident of Ashwood Square for the past 6 years. I have lived at other retirement homes, but the management and the staff here at Ashwood Square are the best I've ever experienced. There's lots to do here with many social activities as well as exercise classes which are very good and essential. The food is excellent with a lot of variety. I love my spacious and beautiful apartment as well! I highly recommend Ashwood Square!

Ashwood Square is a beautiful community! The staff is amazing! They are there for you no matter what you need, and they make it a point to really listen to what you have to say.I can't say enough about the wonderful dining experience, complete with a well-supplied salad bar and a wide variety of choices. The residents are also super friendly, and seem happy to be here. I couldn't recommend Ashwood Square more.

The staff at Ashwood is so professional and the residents all seem so happy and content with the amenities offered. There is always an activity going on and each resident is able to find something to do that interests them. Ashwood is a great place to look at if you have a loved one looking to move to independent living!

My parents are very happy at Ashwood Square. There are lots of activities, so they're never bored, and they have made many friends. The staff is extremely friendly and dedicated to the residents and brings much joy to their day. Thank you, Ashwood Square!

Living at Ashwood Square is wonderful! The chef makes amazing meals, we have tons of choices every day, all made fresh! We always have more activities to choose from than we can actually do and great variety. We have wonderful neighbors who are very friendly and kind and have made great friends here. Ashwood Square is conveniently located to tons of shopping and restaurants and there is free transportation available for all doctors' appointments. We feel very safe here as the community provides safety necklaces and/or watches for us with 24/7 coverage. They even provide valet parking. We love our huge 150-seat movie theatre as we love watching movies on the big screen! We also love our housekeeping we have once a week! It's a joy living here at Ashwood!

Dear Ashwood, I FELT LIKE I WAS IN NYC! We came to visit two of our friends today at Ashwood. We told them we would be there around 1:00 and they were seated right inside the front door. We were all excited to see each other. But, they couldn’t wait to show us around. They showed us where they had their hair done and the game room, where they loved to play cards. They showed us the cafeteria and told us we would have to come back sometime and have lunch. Everything was SO clean and fresh with flowers everywhere. There was a beautiful waterfall in the lobby with KOI fish that came right to me when I bent down to talk to them. The fish were even friendly. We asked one of the employees if she had time to take a picture of us and she said “Sure, that’s what I am here for!” She didn’t act like we were bothering her at all. However, I could tell she was busy! Our friends took us upstairs to their aprtments. One was a ONE bedroom and the other a TWO! Both were nice and I believe they were the same size except/bedrooms

We liked Ashwood Square Retirement Community. It was a gorgeous place. The people were friendly. The staff who gave us the tour was very informative and very friendly. She answered all of our questions. They had a gym, a salon, a library, a post office, and a general store.

My parents live at Ashwood Square and absolutely love it! There are multiple activities during the day and themed events periodically throughout the month. The activity bus takes them wherever they need to go, if they choose not to drive their car, and they have made a lot of friends here. The food is very good and lots of variety. The facility itself is spotless and beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend Ashwood Square!

The staff members are very friendly, and they offer a lot of activities for the residents there. Based on our experience so far we would recommend the Ashwood Square community to others.

Ashwood Square was a grand place. I talked to several of the residents, and each and everyone of them was just thrilled to live there. They were quite pleased with their accommodations, with the food, with the atmosphere, with the community, with the other people, etc. It's a really nice place. My situation is a little different from the occupants there. I have a feeding tube and I do not eat at all. The location was great, too, for the people that are able to walk, and I'm a walker. I could walk down to the shops. There are multiple shopping facilities within walking distance. They have everything from a hair salon, to a barber shop, banking, fitness center, happy hour, and a movie theater.

The activities and everything has finally opened back up. They have ice cream machines, pizza days, and our loved one is just so happy there. She loves how close by the community is to everything, she loves there staff members everyone there is so sweet and helpful.

My mother resided in Ashwood Square for many months. It’s a beautiful facility and the staff could not have been kinder or more caring to her. I would recommend it unreservedly.

My tour was such a wonderful experience that I had to share. They took the time to answer all my questions and educate me on all my options. They exceeded my expectations and offered more amenities and options than any other senior communities I’ve visited. They have activities while I’m healthy and mobile and they also have a care options for all my needs as they increase so I can retire there. I seen so many happy people and heard so many wonderful stories. I just enjoyed my entire visit.

Ashwood Square is a place your can truly thrive in. The community is like family, the team and staff feel like friends, and the activities keep you active and engaged. We love how it has access to everything that’s needed: entertainment, banking, salon, general store, gym, transportation, Private Care services, on-site PT, and more. The fact that housekeeping is available and a Chef is preparing all the delicious meals is a huge bonus!

Ashwood Square is such a nice place! The place itself it beautiful, clean, and new! It has so much to offer including rooms with full kitchens, balconies, and extra bedrooms for office space or guests. They always have fun activities going on and the staff are kind and caring! I would recommend this place to anyone needing an independent living arrangement for themselves or a loved one! I give it 5 stars.

Just leaving a message to say how much our family LOVES Ashwood Square. From the day that we took the tour, my father-in-law and our family felt that we have found “a new home” for him. He has enjoyed the friendships and the activities that Ashwood Square offers. He loves the spaciousness of his apartment. As family members, we know that he is happy and safe. =PRICELESS.

This Retirement loving facility is outstanding and I have not experienced a more beautiful and welcoming community as this one! The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the environment is always clean, and the amenities are excellent. I would recommend this retirement community to anyone!

We've been living at Ashwood Square for a year now.It was a smart decision and our only regret is that we didn't come sooner. We checked out other senior independent living facilities first and found Ashwood to be an upbeat, modern luxury community with many activities available with the other friendly residents. It's been stress-free. Yes, even in the aftermath of a tornado and in the midst of a pandemic. It's been a safe haven and we have been well cared for. We look forward to resuming the relaxed fine dining and sumptuous Sunday Brunches when we can invite family and friends to join us without any stress of our making the preparations. We especially enjoy our outside balcony, the gym and the movies and programs in the full theater. We were also pleased to resume friendships with old tennis buddies and others we knew from civic activities. We can be as active here as we choose to be.

Ashwood Square is the best I have ever been to, they care about their residence and treat them as family. I am a caregiver, and I am picky about my own families care, but would have zero qualms about having a family member of my own staying here. The grounds are lovely,they have a great walking area, library, pool table, gym classes dining room, theater, hair salon, a community shuttle for appointments and so much more. Come to Ashwood Square and let them help ease your mind about your families care.

Ashwood Square is a lovely place to live, sizeable apartments, beautiful grounds, lovely staff and extra amenities. Lower levels have walk out patios for your beloved pet, end apartments on upper levels have a large patio if you have a green thumb or just love the taste of a fresh tomato. They really have so much to offer, come see and find peace of mind for you and your loved one and let Ashwood Square take care of your family as their own.

Great sense of community. Impact of Easter Sunday tornado demonstrated the oneness of residents and staff. As residents, we experienced a supportive, upbeat, smiling, self-giving management and staff with a "can do" attitude. We pulled together as neighbors to encourage and each other's needs. We are Covid19 free because of the cautions put in place by management It's a GREAT place to live and enjoy outstanding neighbors, management, and staff.

This place is beautiful, has awesome food, fitness center, movie theatre, lots of opportunities for activities and socialization, on-site therapy, and excellent management. I would recommend Ashwood to anyone looking for a retirement community. I haven’t seen any other place locally that compares.

I went to Ashwood Square Retirement Community. It was a very lovely facility, it was new, the staff member was very attentive, very helpful, spent time with me and my family, took us on a very nice tour, and they have been in contact with me since. There seemed to be a lot of people out and about, I talked to a couple of the residents, and they spoke very highly of the facility. The dining area was very clean, I saw the buffet, it looked very appetizing, and the cooking area was very clean and well stocked. The apartments were very clean, they had nice amenities, and I liked them.

We are very blessed to have Carol and Kevin as our managers at Ashwood Square in Chattanooga. We have an loving and kind team of employees who certainly care for us. All the employees have been extra helpful since the tornado hit a week ago. Thank you home office team for your encouraging words to us as residents.
