Robinwood Reviews

Robinwood is a beautiful place, and the staff is wonderful. Robinwood is a great place for loved ones to be. The staff here honestly care about and love all the residents. My mother, by heart, felt safe and loved. She enjoyed the food, activities, happy hour, music, meeting, and talking with all the residents. Everyone made her feel beautiful and wanted. I myself enjoyed visiting with her and everyone at Robinwood. I highly recommend Robinwood to all my family and friends.

From the moment I stepped into Robinwood Resort Lifestyle Community, I was captivated by its warmth, elegance, and undeniable charm. Touring the community felt less like visiting a place and more like stepping into a lifestyle designed to uplift and inspire. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with inviting spaces that encourage connection and joy. Every detail, from the welcoming staff to the thoughtfully planned amenities, reflects a commitment to creating a vibrant, fulfilling environment for residents. What impressed me most was the atmosphere: it radiates positivity, optimism, and a true sense of belonging. Robinwood isn't just a community; it's a resort-style experience where neighbors become friends and every day offers something to look forward to. I left my tour feeling energized and inspired, convinced that Robinwood is more than a place to live, it's a place to thrive.

It is like a cruise ship! This is the best independent living facility I have visited in many, many years. When we were looking for a place for my 92-year-old father-in-law, we visited many facilities within 100 miles of Memphis. Nothing compares to this facility.
Denise C
This place is beautiful. The staff is fantastic. The employees' energy, culture, and teamwork are outstanding. My mother-in-law is currently a resident, and she is very pleased with the establishment. We, in turn, are very happy. One of our biggest concerns about our parents as they grew older was that many seniors tend to isolate themselves. This facility offers plenty of social interaction with other residents, staff, and a constant stream of visitors and activities. We have the utmost confidence that our loved ones are being taken care of in our absence and that they are happy. I would be remiss if I did not mention the convenience of [removed name]. We refer to it as “the cruise ship “. Meals are included, so the residents do not have to worry about preparing meals; however, the apartments do have kitchens in case they want to make something special. Snacks, coffee, and ice cream are always on hand.

I suddenly had to move to a place where I could live independently while still being able to get help quickly if I needed it. I was only 61, but I couldn't get up if I fell. With my own apartment, I can stay home if I want, as it has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and light housekeeping services, including changing my sheets. The facility has warm, caring staff. It offers 3 full meals a day in a dining room. The building is nice, kept clean, and inviting. There are many activities offered, allowing residents to socialize. In a couple of months, I will have lived here 10 years!
Gwynn Kersey
Everyone, including the residents, has been helpful and very welcoming throughout the move-in process at Robinwood. There are plenty of activities to be involved in. It's very clean, and the meals are excellent. There is pretty much everything on-site that my aunt would need. She will be able to be involved in so much.

Words can't fully capture how amazing Robinwood Retirement Resort truly is. From the moment I walked through the doors and met their incredible team, I knew instantly that I'd found the right place for my mom. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine compassion immediately put my mind at ease. Robinwood doesn't feel like a retirement facility - it feels like home. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to make every resident feel appreciated, respected, and genuinely cared for. Whether it's the delicious meals, the fun activities, or the uplifting social events, there's always something that brings joy and connection. The entire building is beautiful and inviting, with a peaceful atmosphere that you feel the moment you step inside. If you are looking for a Place for Mom or Dad, I certainly recommend Robinwood Retirement Resort.

Best of the best to be worry-free. We moved my mother and grandmother into Robinwood several years ago, and we have had nothing but positive experiences there. This is not an "old folks home." It is a senior community. The residents can participate in as much or as little as they choose. Between daily exercise classes, happy hours, games, and guests, there is never a shortage of things to do. We love the fact that the facility is close to our home, and dropping in to see Mom is always easy and convenient. We stop by and eat with Mom several times a week. The staff is more than friendly, and we are never at ease having Mom there. After a few visits, you will get to know all the residents, as they are always chatty and friendly. The facility's layout is perfect, with spacious apartments and common areas. We are very happy we chose Robinwood, and we encourage everyone to visit for themselves.

Best Place to Retire! My mother has lived here for 9 years and has never wanted to move. She has an extended family here at Robinwood (including the staff). Robinwood allows someone to remain independent while providing amenities that take the burden off "home" responsibilities! The managers are always accessible, as is their staff!
Judy P
Just what we needed! After losing his second wife, our Dad was struggling to be on his own, but he didn't qualify for assisted living. Even at his advanced age, his daily living skills remain quite good, but he was lonely and clearly needed help and support. Robinwood was the perfect solution! I tell people it's like a cruise ship on land without a pool. But it has everything else you could want! The staff is so accommodating and kind. The food is excellent, and we love being able to come and have meals with Dad anytime we want. Restaurant-style dining and a variety of menu options make it a pleasure to eat there. And I love that it's apartment living, not just a room. Feels like home! And having Home Health caregivers come to his apartment for minor assistance when he needs it is such a great resource, available right there inside Robinwood. I tell everyone who will listen about this wonderful place!
Leah D
I am so glad my parents can call this place home. They feel safe and secure. They have all the amenities of home. They can live independently while knowing the staff is nearby if they need help. They offer 3 meals a day plus snacks. Many activities are available. My dad uses the free blood pressure screening and the available Catholic services.
Lisa P
Everyone I met on my tour was so amazing and made the experience so special! They did a phenomenal job at showing off the community! It was so fun seeing the residents engage in activities! The residents are so happy, and I can't wait to visit again!
Lucy S
You can feel a difference just walking through the door. People are out and about, talking and laughing, and engaged with the employees and one another. The community is clean and comfortable, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. There is always something to do and someone to share friendship with, so I'm never lonely. It's a very happy place!
Connie O
I have visited multiple times and have always been in awe of how the managers have cared for the residents. They know all of them and stop to talk to them as they walk around. They have multiple events to help during the holidays or other events.
Kelly
Robinwood is my happy place! I have been at Robinwood for two years now. I love it here. Everyone is so friendly, the residents and the staff. It's like a big family. We have a great chef and plenty of good food. We have a lot of activities and transportation to appointments. We also have MedicAlert bracelets in case we need help. There's a beauty shop for haircuts and manicures. We pretty much have everything we need in the building.
Barbara
I moved into Robinwood a year and a half ago. Everybody was so warm and welcoming. I felt like I had been here a long time. That atmosphere has not changed. The meals are very good, with lots of choices, and the activities are suited to each individual's taste, offering a wide variety. You can be as involved as you want. It’s nice having a housekeeper come weekly, which is included in our monthly rent. I’m very happy that I moved in here.
Maggie M
We looked at numerous places, both in Florida and Tennessee. Most had some good features. Robinwood has consistently combined all these features and matched, and in some cases exceeded, our expectations. Couldn't be happier!
Bob L
Robinwood is a wonderful place to live!!! The facility is a great place and the staff are amazing!!! The dining room staff takes great care of us. The food is delicious!!! The facility provides A bus for transportation. There are a lot of activities. Housekeeping services are provided.
Linda Stepp
It appears to have been remodeled within the last year. The whole facility is bright and cheerful. Everything is included in the price. This includes meals, utilities, WiFi, cable TV, and a DVR. They offer a travel program that allows you to stay at another Resort Lifestyle community for up to five days free of charge, subject to the availability of the Guest Suite. The facility also has some duplexes complete with two-car garages. They offer a variety of activities, including a Happy Hour every Friday, which often features live musical entertainment. Transportation for doctor visits and shopping is provided. All in all, Robinwood is hard to beat for the price.
Mark T
Helpful, caring staff. 💕💕 Such a wonderful place to live in retirement. A secluded and private location, perfect for much-needed peace. The facility is pristine, both inside / out, with beautiful landscapes. Close to the inner city. There are tons of restaurants and shopping centers nearby. We highly recommend this marvelous place for retirees. Go check them out!!!

There truly aren’t enough words to express how wonderful Robinwood Retirement Resort is. From the moment I walked through the front door and met Connie and her amazing staff, I knew I had found the perfect place for my mom. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care immediately put my heart at ease. Robinwood doesn’t feel like a facility—it feels like home. The staff goes above and beyond to make every resident feel valued, respected, and loved. From the delicious meals to the fun activities and social events, there is always something to brighten the day. The building itself is beautiful, welcoming, and filled with an energy that makes you feel at peace the minute you walk inside. Most importantly, my mom is genuinely happy here. She has made new friends, stays active, and is cared for in a way that gives me comfort knowing she is safe and thriving. I couldn’t have asked for a better place for her to call home, and I will forever be grateful to Connie and the entire Robinwood team for the incredible work they do every day.

Absolutely the best place to live in your golden days, is offered daily, three delicious meals, games to play, sittersize every day, aerobics twice a week, balance class once a week, bingo, Wii bowling, and lots more. Come join us, you’ll love it.
Norma Morris Gordon
Robinwood was a nice and luxurious place. They had a movie theater, a hair salon, an art room, a dining room, and a library. They covered the price of your utilities, internet, cable, and all the meals.
Lolita
What I love the most about the Robinwood Retirement Resort is the inclusive atmosphere it has, which really makes it feel like everyone there is a part of a family. I also love the dining hall which is a great place for socialization aspects.
Lisa
What we really like about the community is the food selection etc. and the activity opportunities were great. I think they experienced a change in staff personalities when the managers changed. I know that is a tough role to fill, but a very important one. Really have no complaints overall about her time there.

I went to look at Robinwood. I really liked the layout that they had for the apartments that were detached from the regular home. They had a separate garage, which I really liked. They had all the amenities offered, like cooking, meals, and transportation if needed. So there were a lot of different things and extras that I appreciated. The tour guide was excellent and thorough. She showed us the informational section, where if we needed something toward our insurance or whatever we could get for Medicare, she was willing to do that. She explained and showed us the convenience of people getting food, sitting at tables, or preparing food according to their diet. They also had options to go and get food and take it to their room after meals, so that was good.
Millie
I've visited Robinwood for a tour. They had a lot of activities, the dining room area was nice and they had a lot of selections for the food. Everybody seemed very helpful and friendly, and we're going back to try their food. The facility was kept up nicely and everything was really clean. They had Bible studies and movie nights, and they plan outings. So it seemed like they had a lot going on.
Nancy
We will be moving into Robinwood. We chose them because they're the nicest people and they had the nicest accommodations. It's just a perfect living condition for retired people who have spouses who might need some handicap accessibility. The facilities were excellent. It's laid out like a hotel resort. It is more of a resort kind of community than an apartment kind of community. The staff was excellent. Everybody's friendly and accommodating. Some apartments have courtyard patios, but they have outside gardens for people to sit around. Everything is onsite, cafeteria-style dining, exercise room, and beauty and barber salon. They have cable TV, internet service, and cleaning service. It's just an all-inclusive community.
Melvyn
My sister has moved into Robinwood. They have a lot of activities going on, and she likes to be busy, so I think that'll work out well. Her room has a big living room and kitchen combination, a nice-sized bedroom, and a master bath. There are two big closets. It's very nice. They have bingo, and she loves bingo. They do exercises, they have chair volleyball, and they have live music every Friday afternoon. They have a movie theater on location, that shows a movie twice a day at 3 and then again at 7. They have a bunch of card games like bridge and dominoes and all those things. Two or three things are going on every day. I was able to have a meal there, and the food was wonderful. Plus, they get a nice choice. They have a choice of two types of meats with vegetables. You go through it like a buffet type, and you could always get a cold sandwich, like a ham sandwich or turkey or something like that, or salad with any meal or instead of a meal. Everybody is so nice and aims to please. They're just very willing to help, so that's good.
Mary
We toured Robinwood. We went in the building and out of the building. We went and saw the cottages. We like everything about it. The apartments looked OK. They have different sizes. They have one- and two-bedrooms, and it's according to where they are in the building. It is a three-story building. The apartments look to be very nice, but average, like the furnishings and the refrigerators. The cabinets are all maple, which is so outdated, but that's fine. They can't keep up with the trends anyway, which is very nice. It's just somewhere you wouldn't mind living. The food is good. I love the dining area. It's big, spacious, and very nice. I really like the staff who gave us the tour. They have an art room, an exercise room, and a small country store that basically is very minimum, like what you might need there if you run out. They have a movie theater and an auditorium for church. There's another room for church, and I think it seats about 60 to 75 people there. I would refer to their cottages as duplexes. They're two bedrooms, one bath, a living room, a kitchen, and a two-car garage. Then, right next to it, connected with a wall between you, is the other side of another two-bedroom, and it's identical. I like those really well. If it's raining, storming, or you can't get up or you're sick, they will deliver the food to you. If you call them and let them know, they'll bring it to you. But for several days, they may or may not make it every day. That's a choice you make when you rent or lease a cottage.
Sandra
We saw Robinwood yesterday. We liked it. We enjoyed the tour they gave us. It's very nice. Everyone was very cordial. We looked around, and the rooms were very nice. Everything was so clean. There were lots of activities. They have a movie theater. They offer three meals a day and that was nice. The shower was easy to access and get out of. It was very nice. It's an independent living, but with extra care. I spoke with several residents, and they said they loved it. The staff was very knowledgeable. She showed us everything she thought we were interested in. She showed us the model apartment and the ones that were available and everything about the dining hall. She's very nice. In general, when you walk in the front doors, Robinwood looks like you're walking more into a nice hotel. To me, they got everything really of independent living you would need. You have a button just in case you fall, you have that. Just in case you have a medical emergency, they have health care. They're right there on the spot, the healthcare part. It's in a nice suburb. There are restaurants, grocery stores, and pharmacies like Walgreen and CVS.
Mary
My mother-in-law has been at Robinwood for one year. The facility is very clean, the food very good, and the management and staff are engaged and thoughtful. It is like a cruise ship experience. I highly recommend Robinwood.
Gina C
My mother-in-law has lived at Robinwood in Bartlett for one year now. The facility is very clean, the food is exceptional, the management and staff are engaged and thoughtful. Activities and outings are varied: there is something for everyone. Residents and guests feel like they are on a small cruise ship (minus the saltwater). I wish I could give Robinwood Retirement Resort more than 5 stars.
Gina Chance
my mom loves Robinwood Retirement Resort and she plans on staying here forever.

We had a wonderful tour experience of Robinwood Retirement Resort. The place looked wonderful. They had activities going on, the food was being set out, and so it would have been a perfect place. Ariana was very welcoming, very nice, and very helpful in explaining the choices that they had and amenities. They have a phenomenal menu with a broad range of very tasty meals available for 24 hours. When I was there, they were just setting up for an activity and quite a few people were getting ready for it. The dining room was very nice, clean, and spacious. There's also a movie theater where they had played various movies, a beautiful chapel, a pharmacy, a general store, and a credit union that could be visited by the residents.
Carla
We looked at Sherrill Hills. It's the Rolls Royce of independent living. It's stunning; maybe that's where I'll go some time. It's on the high end but an amazing facility. We looked at the whole facility. They had food service there, but we did not sample the food. I only met the person who directed our tour. They were having a large activity in a large auditorium, and we probably saw sixty or seventy other residents attending the activity. We were invited to attend the activity with them. It was like a virtual trip to Hawaii. It's not a room; it's a luxury residence. It was nicer than the others. It's a great place.
Richard
I just like the people at Robinwood. They're very friendly, outgoing, and helpful. The apartments are very spacious. It was also spotless, very clean. It's nearby restaurants and grocery stores. They had a gym, a salon, and a small store where you can buy things.
Lynda
We liked everything about Robinwood. The prices were reasonable, and the place was very clean and very nice. They had separate cottages as well as apartments. The apartments were very nice. The separate homes were duplexes, and they were very nice as well. The staff that we met was very accommodating. They had pretty much everything except the swimming pool. It's homey, and the dining area was more like a restaurant.

I am currently living at Robinwood, and it's a beautiful place. I think it is a great place in many ways. We have many wonderful people here, the facilities are good, and the people are good. The room is great. I was in a more expensive room, but I moved down to one that was a little lower priced, and this helped me a great deal. It is a good thing that we can come and go as we wish. We have three meals a day, and the food is good. I have fallen a couple of times, but I press a button and people come to pick me up, put me on my feet, and help me. We need this type of help. If someone is interested, they could just come in, take a look for themselves, and make their own determination. We do not have a swimming pool, but we have an exercise room, and we have many activities. They have a great library, but I have my own library with me -- and I just gave away over 300 books. It's a great place. We have different kinds of activities where we participate with each other.
Johnny
Overall it has been a good experience with Robinwood Retirement Resort. I would tell others just to understand that it is independent living. If your loved one who is living here needs additional assistance, you will have to out source it. The staff are not licensed and cannot even help someone up if someone falls on the floor, they would have to call paramedics. Residents are provided with an emergency necklace if they do need to use that. They do all have full kitchens in the units, but also provide 3 meals a day. They also have transportation but you have to schedule it. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are looking.
Robinwood Resident
We love living. It gives us the time to do the things we enjoy. We no longer have spend time worry about maintaining a house, cooking or any other the other everyday things associated with home ownership. The staff here is wonderful. They have definitely made the health and welfare of the residents their number one priority. When we first moved in we were skeptical about the all inclusive pricing, but it is true. The only other items we have to pay for are renters insurance, car insurance and maintainence and our cell phones. There are as many or as few activities as you want to participate in. Friday’s we have a happy hour often with live entertainment. We know we made the right decision.
Mark Treese
Welcome to Robinwood!!! It’s amazing- the residents and the employees!!! It’s like one big family!!!

This is the best place to be. They have delicious food, fun activities and truly care about their residents well being. I would give them a 10 if I could. I highly recommend Robinwood for anyone looking for a retirement home.
