Dad couldn't be happier with his experience at Oak Park. He’s sent over and over again how happy he is to be there. The staff is friendly. It’s very clean. The food is very good. There’s tons of activities so he’s just thrilled and I’m thrilled that he’s in a place where he’s happy

I toured Oak Park Retirement Resort. All of the amenities that they have are good. I was impressed at what they had. I didn't expect that. The people were friendly. Everything was clean. Everything was wonderful, and the tour was very nice. The lady who gave the tour explained things, so it was very good.

We are so blessed to have such wonderful people to take care of us. Thank you for your wonderful work and dedication to our community.

The front desk person is a true angel and helps keep that place going. She is a true delight! Also, they helped out amazingly when my dad had a medical emergency. The administrator even comforted my niece who witnessed everything. Would absolutely recommend!

Amazing staff. all friendly and helpful. Worry-free financial management with rent, food, amenities, utilities, etc. All are included in a single monthly payment. Monthly leases provide great flexibility. Plenty of activities for residents.

Best retirement community in Katy!!!

I had an in-person tour of Oak Park Retirement Resort. The staff members were very friendly and warm. Everything was nice. The dining area looked good. The residents were moving around. There were about six people playing poker. They had a barber and beauty shop where you could get a massage. They had covered parking. They provide the internet, but you have to bring your own phone service if you want a personal line.

We started looking for a independent living community for Linda's mom. We knew we wanted to select some place in Katy, Tx to be close to us and we toured 8 different places. It was getting frustrating because none of them offered all of what we were looking for until we received a recommendation from a friend to look at Oak Park. From the moment we walked in the front doors and started the tour with Veronica we knew this was was going to be the #1 choice. The staff, the environment, the food, the activities, etc. Oak Park had it all and more. Every resident gave a positive view of why the enjoy living at Oak Park. One person said it was like living on a Cruse Ship that never leaves the dock. The all inclusive independent living environment is a perfect fit. Linda's mom moved in and has been so happy and has made so many great friends. Oak Park deserves far and above a "5" Star rating from us.

Oak Park Retirement Resort looked nice and bright. The people were very friendly, and everyone I talked to was just happy to be there. The staff was wonderful. The facility had all of the amenities that one would enjoy. I had a meal and it was fine. I wasn't able to eat the main part that was served, but I had the salad bar and it had lots of choices. I was able to talk about the activities with the residents that I had lunch with and there were many things that I would like to participate in. They have Bridge, Rummikub, Uno, and lots of card games available. They have a walking club and exercise classes. They also have regular shopping days.

Took a tour of the facility on behalf of my parents. Very welcoming atmosphere. Felt and looked new and clean. Apartments were very spacious. All the residents were friendly. Staff was also very friendly. A special thanks to Veronica for providing the tour!

Oak Park Retirement Resort has a very caring staff and the maintenance is very prompt. Most of the residents I've met are very happy living there, which creates a very positive atmosphere. My dad participates in quite a few activities, mostly bingo and other games. Oak Park offers transportation to appointments and stores, they also allow pets. They have a beauty salon, a small store, and a bank that's actually inside the building. When you walk through the community, it looks like an upscale hotel. They even have a Koi pond in the entranceway with some pretty nice-sized fish. Housekeeping visits my parents' room on a weekly basis. Their apartment is a 2 bedroom, and the master bedroom is huge at about 15x30ft. The second bedroom is about 13x13ft. They have two big walk-in closets and two bathrooms. The living and kitchen area are combined into one and it's very spacious. The apartment came with a full kitchen; a stove & oven, a microwave above it, about 3 quarters sized fridge and quite a bit of cabinet space. They also have washer and dryer hook ups. Overall I would definitely recommend Oak Park Retirement Resort to others.

I absolutely loved it here when I moved here over two years ago. But now I’m not getting the room service I used to get. That was the primary reason I moved here in 2019. I was happier when Paul and Hala were the managers here. It seems everything has changed since they left. The food was so good back then but now it’s really gone downhill.

We love this place!

I toured Oak Park Retirement Resort for my husband and it's an incredible location. It was very well-run, and they had a lot of activities. Everyone was very, very happy there. It was the first place that we visited in several years where people were coming up to us and saying how much they enjoyed living there. It's all independent but they offer a list of home health care specialists that you can contact to come in if you need more assistance. Everything there was exactly like living in your home, except that you're not. The apartments were wonderful. The staff was wonderful, and the directors live on site. There are a lot of activities and a lot of transportation offerings. It's not a contract so you don't buy into it. It's a month-by-month thing and that was a real positive. It was just pretty amazing. The staff was the most congenial. They were most willing to share information, they seem very honest, and they encouraged residents to pipe in and make comments. I felt it was very transparent. They served us lunch and what I had was great.

It's a great place to be. People are friendly, and it's very clean. I think the staff here are friendly - they remember your name and always greet you. They reach out to you. They don't ever seem to forget. I just really like it here.

When we toured Oak Park Retirement Resort, I really liked the feel of the community. It was very updated, and very organized. You walk in, you feel welcome. It was just very nice and very pleasant. They were very welcoming. Not only did the facility manager come to give us a tour, but some of the other staff came up to greet us, to let us know that they were there all the time. She was very warm and welcoming; she gives you a feeling of confidence. I did not try the food, but I watched them cook and serve it. Their scratch kitchen was preparing the food. It looked good. It wasn't large quantities on the serving table at one time; they were pretty regular as needed. I liked that they had a window of opportunity to come and eat. I liked that they had room service for free. If you didn't want to come down, they would give you room service. That was very good.

Best retirement community ever.

Our families overall experience is a five plus, and the staff members there are very friendly. The place is beautiful, the residents are all just very happy and active. The activities are wonderful. The made our loved ones transition such an easy processes had have supported our family the entire time, they always listen and talk with us. They truly show empathy and care.

Before the virus the service was great! Delivery to my door. Got a menu each week to choose what you want. Housekeeping every week.

My Aunt lives at Oak Park and we've been so overwhelmed by how welcoming and loving everyone is there! Now in the midst of the COVID pandemic, as residents stay in their rooms, the staff is going above and beyond with smiles and snacks delivered directly to them! they're seriously the BEST!
