This is the best place ever - if you or your loved ones need a little help but want independence as well check Village Crossing out. My dad was there for almost 2 years before his passing and it was one of the best decisions he made as he grew older💕 and the staff is Fantastic 🥰

You couldn't find a better person to deal with than Courtney at Village Crossing to try and make the decision to transition from home ownership to independent living within a retirement community. The compassion and patience she showed us was a testament to her true character. Although it didn't work out for my Aunt due to other reasons and certainly was no reflection on the staff or facility. I was so impressed with not only the facility and staff but at how happy and welcoming the people that lived there were. Their faces are, " The proof is in the pudding", you could see their joy. Courtney worked with us for over 2 years and every time we were there, there was an activity going on that was enjoyed by all. Hats off to everyone at Village Crossing for making it a great place to call home.

I love Village Crossing! The team here helped make my mom’s move smooth, easy, and seamless. What seemed like a major transition for her was very easy thanks to the staff and all the community members. Everyone was very warm, welcoming, and helpful during the first few months and continue to be ten months later. The food is delicious, the activities are fun, the outings are great...my mom participates in everything and loves it. I visit her at all hours of the day and night and absolutely love being here and having her in such a wonderful independent environment. From a financial standpoint, it is truly all-inclusive. You don’t need to worry about extra charges, extra fees, or anything other than the flat rate for your apartment. Room service, housekeeping, utilities, activities, outings, transportation, happy hour, entertainment, 24-hour snacks…everything is included in the fixed price. My only regret is not moving her in sooner, her happiness and quality of life at Village Crossing has exceeded all of our expectations.

We visited this community one week ago and felt so welcomed by both the staff and residents. Residents are treated with respect and cared for like they are family. It warms my heart! This is the place for mom. Thank you Village Crossing!

There are not enough great things to say about Village Crossing. I moved my mother in there back in March and she has been absolutely thriving - far and away the happiest I've seen her in years! It is without a doubt the most neat, organized, and well-run facility I've seen and the managers, staff, and residents create a friendly and hospitable environment for anyone fortunate enough to stay there.

Village Crossing Retirement Community is a true haven for seniors seeking a vibrant and caring environment. The staff and managers go above and beyond to make this place exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine concern for the residents' well-being. The dedication and kindness of the staff are truly outstanding. They create a sense of community, ensuring that every resident is not just a name but a cherished member of an extended family. The managers exhibit strong leadership, making sure that the community runs smoothly and efficiently. From the delightful activities and events to the nutritious and delicious meals, Village Crossing offers a top-tier retirement experience. The staff's attention to detail and commitment to residents' happiness is commendable. It's not just a retirement community; it's a place filled with love, care, and a strong sense of belonging. We the managers of Village Crossing have enjoyed being here in Louisville for over two and a half years and have been fortunate to see our community double in the size of its residency. We love interacting with the residents and are fulfilled when they refer to Village Crossing as their home.

I want to express how amazing this place is! The diligent managers go above and beyond to ensure that the residents are happy and well taken care of. Their active participation in various community events is commendable and adds to the overall experience. Residents love and appreciate the activities management organizes. This place is not just a residence, but a remarkable and nurturing community that exceeds all expectations.

This place is under so much control from the micromanaging managers, Glen and Laurie. Too many unnecessary rules for residents from their mouths. There have been lots of complaints to corporate and they go unheard. Glen and Lauri are bullies and racists who will give any excuse to make your life miserable as an employee and resident. I am an ex-employee, they will tell you stories of why I was let go. Truth is, I already had another job lined up due to the stress they put employees under...I was allowed NO BREAKS!! I was told one thing by my supervisor, DeeDee, and Manager Glen, but Laurie didn't like me so she would huff at me, sneer, and talk to me like I was stupid. She is the reason I was fired, I stood up to her and her instigating. She is always looking for a fight, She speaks to the residents and other employees as if she is the "owner" of you, not a leader but a boss. When some of the residents took to me, she made sure to embarrass me in front of people every chance she got to remind me, that she was in control. I did my job (easy job) as I was instructed to and I did a good job...She was around for maybe 40 minutes of my full month of working there. Glen is no better, talking down to some residents that he didn't like as well. Reminds employees that everyone is replaceable and he is best friends with the owner Breck Collingsworth. They favor some employees who report to them anything other employees do, even things in their personal lives. DeeDee will tell you not to trust anyone when it is she who is the real problem under Glen and Laurie. Bonnita had an ugly attitude towards residents and bullied other employees to quit and all of the management knows and has spoken with her, as she continues to do it and never gets fired. This is a toxic environment, and the residents feel it. Glen, Dee Dee, Laurie, and Bonnita speak to a lot of these residents like they're not paying their overpaid salaries. After they let me go, they continued to gossip about me saying I was a disgruntled employee, that I was discriminating against Laurie's hearing, also that I was insubordinate. Anyone who knows me knows my character speaks for itself. When I reported to corporate all that was going on to Kymberly in HR...Her last question to me was "What would you like to see happen here". Breck is making millions from people who trust this place will treat them fairly whether they are an employee or residents...Why would the corporate office ask such a condescending question...You make money off the residents and how you treat your employees matters because they are your team, not your slaves and they are the people who know the customer (residents) more than this management team. Village Crossing is a fail...Do not live there, do not work there...

I visited Village Crossing a few months back and couldn’t have been more impressed. The staff was very kind, welcomed us as though we were long time friends, and answered all our questions. I knew right away this property was top of the line! One of the only communities I visited that actually celebrates the uniqueness of each resident while providing a safe and inclusive home for all. Thank you Village Crossing!

I have worked here for almost 2yrs and I love it. The management team is incredible and will go out of their way to help anyone. Every week there are a lot of activities in and outside of the building I would definitely recommend Village Crossing 3 hot meals a day and the pantry is open 24hrs and there is also a Home Healthcare Service offered for residents that need extra help. Stop in and take a tour Ms. Courtney will gladly help you.

I’m very happy with Village Crossing! I feel comforted and pleased that my parents are in good hands at such a great retirement facility. The staff is comforting and professional. I’d like to say a very special thank you, especially to Laurie and Glen for showing such wonderful hospitality to my parents as they transition.

I have worked for Resort Lifestyle Communities at Village Crossing for over 3 1/2 years. It is by far the BEST company and community I have ever worked at for so many reasons. Our community has GREAT managers, who run our community very efficiently making sure our lifestyle & amenities are upheld for our residents. We still have Team Members who have been here since we opened, which says a lot about this company & our community. We have amazing residents, who are always complimented on how friendly they are to everyone. Our all-inclusive lifestyle (truly being all-inclusive), it helps our residents thrive without worrying any longer about their home, maintaining it, expenses, cooking, etc. Most of the time, once a resident moves in, they share with us that they wish they had done it sooner. Grateful for this company & our amazing community!

Village Crossing was very impressive. It's a very lively place. There were lots of opportunities. I liked that for people with pets there were first floor rooms with exterior access, so that was very impressive to me. There's a lot of people doing things and very active in the restaurant. I know they have an opportunity to bring a washer-dryer and have those installed. There's just a stovetop, an oven, and a refrigerator in the apartment. The staff was very positive, very engaged, and very knowledgeable. The dining area was a restaurant type.

We went to see my dad's close friend, who is an incredibly lovely woman. Her home is amazing; it has a wonderful atmosphere and a staff that is very professional. Although we would prefer to let him stay at [removed], my dad was also encouraged to relocate here. We have heard great things about this location.

I toured Village Crossing and I liked their restaurant, the cleanliness of the place, the size of the rooms, the convenience of the place from where I live, and the amenities. The staff was very well trained, answered all my questions, and took a personal interest in my needs. The apartments were spacious, modern, and brand new. Their dining area was beautiful with a wide selection of food. The staff asks you what you want off the menu and they go to the hot table and prepare the plate for you. I met some of the residents that were playing dice games and a sit-down volleyball game. It's a nice place. It's not assisted living, but there is an assisted living company that's based on their second floor. So, you can get any help you want, a la carte. Their meals have room service, they have a full kitchen, and it's a 759 square feet apartment. In the bathroom, there's a space for a full washer and dryer. If you don't bring one, they'll supply one free of charge, and if you don't want to do that, there's a washer and dryers down the hall.

I chose Village Crossing because of all of the things above that are 5's. I looked at others and none of them even compared. Everything is all-inclusive here, there are no extra charges for anything. The food is amazing, I would give it a 6 out of 5. I would recommend them to others looking.

Village Crossing was definitely a cleaner place. They're not doing any construction and they have a lot more amenities. People can do dancing or singing, and their theater was bigger, and had a lot more seating. It's a little more expensive too, but everything was perfect. The lady who gave the tour was very good and knowledgeable. She was even excited to show us around. She had a lot of good things to say and did excellent. They actually offered us that for any event coming up, we would be invited to come join them to experience a little bit of their food. They have a nice little theater where they can show movies, do stage plays, or hold church services, then conversation rooms, and arts and crafts rooms. I saw a two-bedroom with a master bath and it was big. It looked really good.

We thought Village Crossing was nice. I liked it. We saw quite a few people there, and everybody was really nice. It was a good experience. We got the information we needed, and we've already contacted them. We saw all the rooms. The outside of it is the only place where there wasn't much going on. There were streets on every side, and if you look out the window, you can see the cars. If I was on my back porch, I would want more privacy, and I told the staff that. I know they have plays, they do shows there, they have a happy hour, and they have open meals anytime. It seemed like they had a lot of stuff.

Village Crossing is very clean, friendly, has a lot of amenities, it's very accessible for all levels of needs and affordable too. The staff is very friendly, caring and helpful. My mom has a 1-bedroom with a full kitchen and a washer and dryer in her room. So far, she's been very happy with the food, its selection, and the quality. She's extremely happy there. They have daily movies in their theater, bingo, and cards. They have a happy hour, a kind of a social hour before dinner. They're not doing any outing yet because of COVID but I know they'd offer that again eventually.

My father has moved into Village Crossing. The food is very good. It is very affordable. The apartments are very nice. They have been very accommodating. The place is very nice and clean. It has everything that a senior would need. Everyone has been very nice and very helpful. They were more than willing to go out of their way to help us. One of the reasons why we picked this place is that they have a lot of activities for the members to do within the facility. They take them to a lot of places to do stuff (probably when Covid is over) to get outside. One of the definite selling points is that it is easy access. They have a lot of handrails, and they have a lot of elevators, which always help senior people who have a little bit of mobility issue.

Thanks so much for the Pizza Party. It's so much appreciated; a bright, happy break from t these otherwise uneventful days we're all sharing. So creatively done, and the pizza was really good too. Thanks again! Keep up your good work in managing these challenging times.
