Provident Crossings Reviews

I am so grateful to call this place my home for the past 4 years. They have so much to offer. The cost may seem high at first, but when you realize you get 3 hot meals a day plus snacks available 24 hours, all utilities paid except for cell phone, plus weekly housekeeping, you can't go wrong. Also, our activities director offers us many opportunities for fun-filled adventures. If you no longer drive, we offer weekly shopping trips as well as medical appointments. Come make your home with us. We would love to have you as a neighbor Sue L. (Resident for almost 4 years)

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! My father is having a great experience at Provident Crossings Round Rock - and I am, too! The facility is fabulous, but what stands out is the people - the staff, the management, AND the residents. I enjoy joining him for lunch in the dining room and talking with the staff and residents. Knowing that my father is living with people who care about him is a blessing. The facility is immaculate and uplifting. The activities are varied and fun. My father wishes he had moved to Provident Crossings sooner. HIGHLY recommend!
Shelley Troxell
I highly recommend PC. They care and the facility is lovely. The managers and staff are friendly and caring and my mother raves about the food. I enjoy my regular visits.

Everyone in this community is so friendly. The residents are always smiling. The staff is professional and accommodating. The food is very good 95% of the time. Lots of activities to choose from. We definitely recommend!

I go to Provident Crossings on a fairly regular basis to visit family friends who live there Mr. Sean & Ms.Patty. We always have a great time & the food is outstanding. We attended tonight for birthday and anniversary night, There are always fun and interactive things going on over there and they always allow family and friends to attend. It is a really nice facility!

We came to celebrate a birthday with my Dad tonight. Provident Crossing provided a beautiful special meal for the monthly celebration. This is a delightful senior community with a focus on bringing residents together to enjoy life. I am so grateful that my parents get to enjoy this season of their lives in a home where they are valued, respected, and treated with dignity and kindness. Everyday is full of varied activities, deliciously prepared meals, and opportunities to explore the local events. The management is present and accessible, always going above and beyond to keep Provident Crossing operating smoothly so that the residents need only be concerned with enjoying their day. Great place, we give them 5 stars!

I have been here for two years, and I can't imagine living elsewhere at this stage of my life. The staff is caring and helpful, the managers are top-notch. The food is generally excellent. There are numerous activities - I love games and play different ones frequently. And above all I have friends!
Lucile Davis
I have lived here for over 2 years and loved every minute of it. The staff always make me feel so special. The activities are so varied that there is something for everyone.

Provident Crossings is a community. The residents, staff, and management are all friendly and work together to make it a rewarding living environment. There are many activities to participate in and numerous pleasant locations to enjoy on one's own.

I’m so thankful for Provident Crossings. After my father passed, my Mother moved in with us and while we thoroughly enjoyed having her and she enjoyed being with her grandkids every day, she is still very active and I felt bad for her sitting alone at home while we were at school/work. She has been at Provident now for six months and has joined the choir, the Wii Bowling team, the bean bag baseball team, fitness challenges and has made friends her age. She also enjoys the outings they have to Museums and plays and has even taken my daughters with her on outings. For days when she’s not feeling social, they have movies on their in-house channels in addition to her regular cable and internet. I feel she is well taken care of at Provident. She enjoys the food there and probably eats better in the day than she did when she was alone at my house. There is a maid service and even a driver that will take her to shopping, medical appointments, and grocery shopping. She has fully enjoyed her fellow residents and the staff there, all of whom she is on a first-name basis. I encourage to go visit if you are looking for a senior living apartment. Thanks, Provident!

Great people here residents and employees. They have fun activities and games to keep you as busy as you want to be.

It's a great community that's very kind. It's a lovely atmosphere.

We have felt blessed from the very beginning to find this extraordinary residence. The first thing that struck both of us was that we felt like we were on a cruise ship with special conversation rooms, a library, a Billiard room, a poker room, a fabulous daily salad bar, noon and night, and apartments loaded with great features like bars in the bathroom and electrical outlets plenty. We were immediately reminded of the fabulous cruises we had taken. There was a fountain as we entered with fish, swimming in it, music to our ears. There were friendly people everywhere who greeted us. The dining room was extensive and well laid out, full of decorations and pictures. Weekly housekeeping was offered to keep our rooms neat, and clean, beds made. And the staff are just excellent. But let us talk about the most important piece probably right now (after. our two years here). That is our managers, Joie and Jay! It is hard to describe to the outside world what it means for us to have a mother and a father figure who really really cares about us. They are a loving, caring couple Who is everywhere, at all times of the day or night, exactly where they need to be to be of help to someone. Their way of handling all of us, of being committed to seeing every server, and every helper in the building taken care of, of the way they handle issues brought before them with care, patience, and concern, is just what a resident like this needs We always hear, the residence talking about how they feel like they’re part of a family. That comes right down from the top! Let me not forget Holly, our activities Director Who is also so committed to her job of pleasing us and keeping us interested in varying activities. And Pete, our driver, who goes out of his way to take us to appointments with wheelchairs, relators, etc. He gets off the bus and often holds the door to the office for people. Again, always with a smile. The staff members who work on the desk also go way above and beyond with their abilities to help us and serve us. Let us not omit all the dedicated, caring, managers, and servers in the dining room. They always have a smile, remember our names, get special treats for us when they see us coming, and are so appreciated. And one last place, definitely not to be overlooked, is our phenomenal kitchen, our very obliging and excellent chef, and all of the staff that works in the kitchen. There are probably six languages spoken in that kitchen and everything works like clockwork within the budget They are allotted. There are always two options for entrées and beautiful desserts, rolls, and extra treats. On Sundays, Jay, gets up extra early to get special donuts, made here in Round Rock, coming in with boxes of donuts, especially for us. Sean and I were evacuated from Sanibel Island in Florida with the last hurricane, losing everything, including our car, and really believe that we were brought by the universe to the perfect place for us. Please come join us.❤️

It’s nice to have someone who cooks my meals and cleans my apartment but what I like most about living here is socializing as much as usual like with the friends I have made here.

After living in a couple of other independent living facilities, I moved into Provident Crossing three years ago. There are many activities provided for all. The food is very good. All staff are friendly and very good at their jobs. I also like that the managers live here also.
TOMMY SANDERS
I have been a resident here for almost 3 years. During this time, I have been very impressed with the facility. Presently management and the entire staff are fully dedicated to providing excellent service to its residents. In my experience, the entire staff is friendly, always ready to serve you, and provides excellent service. This includes food preparation, dining service, housekeeping, activities, maintenance, and of course management. I am very happy with all phases. I would definitely recommend this retirement facility.
Harvey Fahrenthold
I’m pleased to say that we are very fortunate to have the the best managers (Jay and Joy) and a staff of excellent service.
Phyllis Steiger
I love this facility and all the employees
Bill Wisdom, Jr
A beautiful community extremely well maintained with a very professional and caring staff. Lots of activities and friendly residents.

Great home with great employees and great residents. Absolutely love this place and the people!

At 96 years young I sometimes have issues with my dental implants. Today was one of those days and I need some soft food to eat at lunch. The wait staff were so helpful in getting me something I could enjoy. Thank you so much! I feel cared for and appreciated in that moment.

We have fun at Provident Crossings - mariachi band celebrating Cinco de Mayo, New Year’s Eve dancing, Johnny McGowan entertaining, Halloween costumes, dinner out at Tokyo Steakhouse, and Country Music. Come join us! We play games at Provident Crossings - Mahjongg, nickel bingo, Wii bowling (a perfect score), horse racing, and many more. Come join us! We eat good food at Provident Crossings - take a look at some of the delicious and beautiful meals served at the monthly celebration dinners. Come join us!

My parents have lived at Provident Crossings for the past three years. This place has truly been a godsend for my parents. The managers Jay and Joy are amazing and caring in every way. They go the extra mile for the residents to ensure that they are safe and happy. The chef, kitchen staff, and housekeepers are superb. I highly recommend Provident Crossings to anyone who is contemplating finding an excellent assisted living home for their family member.

My mother liked Provident Crossings Retirement Resort. It was very nice. All the guests were friendly and the coordinator was very thorough with the tour. I liked all of the activities. It was just very clean and uplifting, not like some other places that you go into, and are kind of depressing. Everybody seemed happy. They have transportation. They have guestrooms for your family to stay in if they come to visit you. They have arts and crafts, a nice theater, a physical therapy room, and a puzzle room. I like that the mailboxes are right there in the main lobby. There's always somebody on duty at the concierge desk. It's very secure. All the doors are locked from the outside. You can get out, but you can't get back in. You have to go back around to the front door to get back in. During the tour, everyone that we encountered introduced themselves and was very nice. We met with the housekeeping staff. The chef that was onsite came out and introduced himself and said if mom had any particular food needs or whatever, he would take care of it. We had lunch and it was very good. It was what they were serving the guests that day and it was very good and very nutritious.
Teresa
Provident Crossings Retirement Resort was fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better place for Mom. The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond. The activities were outstanding. The meals were outstanding. Cleanliness was outstanding. Everything was just fabulous. There were several meal options for each meal from which to choose and they were healthy, well-proportioned, and very, very good. They had a library, a chapel, a game room, an outdoor area for recreation, and a movie theater.
Carrie
The tour at Provident Crossings Retirement Resort was very nice. The facility was really clean. They had very nice accommodations and several different floor plans. They had facilities for community gatherings. They had a beautiful restaurant downstairs, a theater, a library, and some common areas where you could sit and read a book or talk with someone. I was very impressed. The rooms were small, but they were definitely adequate. The staff members were very nice and friendly. The living atmosphere was very upbeat. The people seemed happy to be there. Everything was pretty modern and very well maintained.

Provident Crossings was virtually the same as the place we ended up choosing and absolutely love. It was a friendly, safe, and happy environment. And the longevity of the management there was impressive.

It is a great community and has so many amenities to it. Once I can get my loved one more social to be more active. They have a theater and library. The staff seems really receptive to everything. It is a beautiful place. It is well maintained. She has someone come clean once a week and my loved one really likes her. The staff is really great. It's a beautiful place overall. It's somewhere you can move in and be active. You have a lot of options there. She has independence but her safety is monitored 24/7 with her necklace that is a button to get help. Location is close to me.
Teri
my loved one moved from this community. We loved this community as well just needed more care for my loved one. This was independent living and my loved one needed assisted living.
Cherri M
Provident Crossings Retirement Resort is just absolutely gorgeous. They designed the inside like the inside of a cruise liner, so it's got a big lobby and atrium, and then three to four floors. They have a professional chef cook the meals. Everybody was really friendly and helpful, they had a theater, they had a library, a pool, it has all kinds of amenities, and it was gorgeous. If I had the money, I'd go there. We ate lunch there and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and because my husband was in the military, there was a special for veterans. They were great, and they tried to help us figure out different avenues, took us around the rooms and everything. And if you're there, and you're visiting out of town and the company owns another place out of town, you can stay in that other place. It's close to all the shopping centers and stores and groceries. They have busses that take you around to different places, and I love the fact that food is great and you can get snacks during the night. They have sandwiches and stuff out, and the meals are just so good. The place is really clean and it was just great overall.
Sandra
Provident Crossings Retirement Resort was a very nice place with very nice accommodations. There are three levels to it when you walk in. They had a very impressive foyer with a water fountain in front of it, and then behind it was a dining facility that had a barbershop and a beauty salon. There's a bank inside, an arts-and-crafts room, a private chapel, and a large theater. Their staff was very, very nice to everyone, and everyone was very nice to us. My son tried their food and it was good too. I visited with three people who lived there, and they all said they loved living there.
Henry
I liked Provident Crossings. Everybody was wonderful. I never had a problem any place I went. They were all very friendly. I like the floor plan. I didn't find a single apartment that I could not have lived in, and Provident Crossings is a perfect example. They took me on a tour, and the lady in the office was great. I was very happy with the tour that I did with her. The concierge was great. Handicap parking was available. They showed me the snack bar, the chef, and the lunch/dining room, and they have places for dogs. They showed me all of the things that I needed, and they ticked all the boxes. Its location is convenient to highways.
Mary
I rated the facility a 5-star at this point, on the basis that my mother, brother & I, took a tour yesterday. We were totally satisfied with the environment, compassion given, and the over-all tour. Our mother would like to consider moving here in the near future!
